Listing is for an oil& gas drill bit. I got this bit as part of an auction lot and honestly don't know much about it. The previous owner was an executive at an oil& gas company in Texas. This is a large and VERY HEAVY bit. It measures approximately 12" long x 7-1/8" at the widest part and weighs 65 pounds. Unfortunately I don't know enough about these to say it's exact condition. Obviously it's been used and I can see several of the teeth are broken and/or missing. I tried turning each of the cones by hand and one spins pretty easily. One takes a bit more force to spin and one doesn't spin at all by hand. All pictures shown are of the ACTUAL bit you will receive. Serial Number: HC591159. Tecumseh Engine(Model: AV600 660047K(B) Includes 19 five foot drill stems. 9 couplings, two drill bits and an unopened bag of Quik-Gel. Also included(not pictured) is a 3" commercial grade trash/mud pump with a Honda 5.5hp motor. Pump is used but worked great last time it was used. It has been sitting for a while and will need the carburator cleaned out. No hoses for the pump are included. Drilling rig is essentially new. The motor was run to properly break it in. The only drilling this rig has done was just to test it out. Please take a look at all the pictures so you can truly appreciate the condition of this rig. The only piece that is missing is the bolt which secures the cable to the powerhead. This can easily be replaced with any bolt you have laying around. Very light surface rust on some of the piping. nothing that wouldn't wipe off with a piece of steel wool. Although the gas tank was drained before storing. I am listing this 1978 Alten Loomis Clipper 24-A Mounted on a 1988 Ford F-600 Truck with extra drilling tools for a motivated seller who is ready to sell! If anyone has any questions about this rig. This listing is for a 1978 24L alten loomis clipper. 4 Line Machine with a 4 cylinder continental motor with a 5 speed transmission mounted on a Ford F600. This Ford has some pickup and pulls the rig down the highway at 60 MPH with no problem, even some room to spare! Machine drills to 700 feet on 5/8 drill line and the machine is currently equipped with 400 feet on it now. This machine has a sand line auxiliary hoist and even has a fourth line on sheave for a cat head rope and shaft for cat heads. This machine comes to you ... moreFULLY TOOLED with fishing tools, two sets of spang jars, blocking, sand line bailer, a full circle socket fishing tool, an under reamer drive head, drive clamps, break out, and tightening tools! It even has all jacks needed to level the machine and the drill component is set up so that the truck does not need to be jacked. The ring is on a hinge so jacking is much more efficient and less labor intensive, aka saves you time and $$$! The telescoping mast goes to 40 feet with auto braces and the drill has a centering guide for the drill stem to start the hole for you. Rig is also useful for pulling large submersible pumps from very deep wells and to install large submersibles as well. The jack shaft is in good condition. This truck has been in outdoor storage in upstate NY for the past couple of years, it is going to need lubrication, probably a couple new tires and will need a new paint job! The interior does have wear, but it's a work truck, not a Rolls Royce, so if you wanted to upgrade the interior you can do that as well. This is a good truck.
