This is a used medium size semen tank from American Breeders Service that we have had on our dairy goat farm for several years. Useful for cows. Goats, sheep, pigs artificial insemination programs. The dimensions are 55" circumference, 17" diameter, 17" height at the shoulder and 24" total height. The tank holds a 31-liter Liquid Nitrogen charge for 2-4 months depending on ambient temperature. We mostly kept it in the house for temperature control. We are seriously downsizing, and no longer have need of AI. The unit is very heavy- about 30 lbs- so local pickup is preferred, but shipping is available.

Forma CryoMed CryoPlus III Cryogenic Storage Unit For sale- a Forma Scientific CryoMed CryoPlus III Cryogenic Storage unit. The current version(I guess) from Thermo of the 31” diameter unit is the model 7404. That is shown as holding 340 liters of LN2. This is not a 7404. And I am not sure how the two compare, but you have to figure that the capacity would be similar since this is the 31” diameter model. The surplus info indicated it to be in good condition. And I was able to power it up. Without filling it with LN2 I cannot test it. But with the key in the center position the unit was responsive to the controls, I was able to silence the alarm(that will otherwise wake the dead) set the upper and lower limits, and switch to Manual Fill(which makes a relay/solenoid sound, so I assume it shuts off the flow of LN2 if you do that) I do not have ... morea manual. And it is otherwise untested and sold without warranty The interior is clean. And has a grid of four large and four small rectangles on the bottom, but no racks are included. I don’t know if the rectangle grid is removable or not. The only problem that I noted was that the locking lid did not seem to want to lock. Probably the lock mechanism just needs to be realigned, I will take a closer look at that when I get the pictures. And it may be missing a caster. Will have to look for it. I do have the key for it.
