There are six spots around the flask, each measuring about 1cm square, where the internal shiny metal coating seems to be worn away or something. I'm not sure how to explain this, they're on the inside of the hollow vacuum area, such that when I rub my finger on them, they cannot be felt at all. One of the spots can be seen in the picture, next to ... morethe Pyrex brand marking. These spots to not seem to effect the integrity or functionality of the flask in any way. The rubber coating on the bottom of the glass does not cover it all the way. I don't know if it peeled off at some point, or if it was just made that way.
