I have just noticed that the lid has some age related cracks that I did not notice at the time of the listing. Thus I am reducing the price from $375 to $250. My understanding is that replacement lids are available through MVE distributors, but please check beforehand. I have posted a picture of the issue that I hope will help. This is the plastic top that I do not believe is part of the sealing system, foam insert seems fine) but I do not know. This semen tank was purchased(brand new)in Australia and was used to send semen from Australia to the USA(by air) Since then the tank has been in our basement on a wooden pallet and has not been moved from the house except for several trips out to the machine shed during AI programs. It was only outside for a few hours each time and then was brought back into the house. It has been regularly filled with liquid nitrogen. Recently I imported more semen so now have an extra semen tank. That is why I am selling this one. Sorry about all the stickers on the tank- they were put on by the airline and shipping company in Australia.

This item came from an Ohio State University Medical inventory reduction. It is the Taylor Wharton 35HC liquid nitrogen cryogenic dewar. It is the large 10 canister size. It is totally functional as it came straight out of the lab. There is some minor paint scratching on the outside of the tank and on the blue lid. The clasp that locks the lid has one arm slightly bent so you have to push it in as you close the lid to completely secure it. I will picture both.please contact me with questions.
