This is a vintage B&K 420 Cathode Rejuvenator Tester CRT TV Tube Tester made by B&K Mfg division of Dynascan. It came from the stock of a radio. Cd, ham, electronic repair shop that we recently bought out. It is in very good condition. This is used to test and rejuvenate TV CRT cathode ray vacuum tubes. It can test for leakage, emissions and shorts and has two rejuvenate functions with a dynamic intensifier. This would be very handy if you are restoring vintage tube television sets. This is a vintage Sencore ST66 Stereo TV Analyzer. It came from the stock of a radio. Cb, ham, electronic repair shop that we recently bought out. It is in excellent condition. This is used to test, troubleshoot and align the MTS(Multichannel TV Sound) system and MTS decoders in stereo televisions. It can also be used to test and align FM stereo radios. The unit has a built-in video pattern generator and an MTS stereo generator for signal injection into the different stages for testing and aligning. The case, handle, pull-out instructions and instrument panel are in excellent condition. Since taking the pictures I have found and am including the original 44 page manual and the schematics and parts list. No cables, adapters or power supply are included. Up for auction is a B&K Model 1076 Television Analyst. It belonged to my grandfather who was a television/ radio repairman in the 50's and 60's. It was stored inside the house in his work shop. I plugged the unit in and when powered on the red indicator light on the front panel powered up as seen in the photos. While powered up. I lifted the top cover and various tubes where lit and showed power as seen in the photos. There is a CRT type tube inside which is purple/blue in color when unit is on. I remember my grandfather using this unit all the time in his work and taking good care of it. For its age. The unit is in great condition. This auction is for a Videotek 141A demodulator. It works fine and shows good video and audio. It has two BNC-based video outputs and stereo audio outputs using XLR type connectors. The Videotek 141A demodulator can be used as an analog tuner which includes demodulation of channel 2/3/4 of old retro computer or gaming consoles. It takes a RF input from VCR/Atari 400/800/2600/Pong C140/etc. systems and gives a clear audio/video output on the TV. It allows setting of channel and selecting the various types of signals- TV/Cable/etc. This will convert the RF signal from an Atari 2600. 5200, 400, 800, XL, XE, VCR, Commodore 64, C-140 Atari Pong, etc. to separate audio and composite video for hooking up to modern TVs that take A/V input. This is a bigger and heavier unit than previous units we have sold like the Pico due to having a lot more features ... morelike"fine tune" for adjusting channel frequency, internal speaker with audio volume adjustment, AFT on/off, stereo/mono selection, etc. Note that the connectors are BNC for video outputs and XLR type for audio output and input is a coaxial type connector so they require the appropriate adapter(s) to convert RCA type connectors to these. Pacer (like Pico 900CS) RF- A/V Demodulator/TV Tuner (tested w/Atari/VCR/C64/..)
This auction is for one Pacer Demodulator which is an RF channel Demodulator and very similar to the Pico 900CS demodulator. This powers up fine and works fine and looks good- no rust. Minor scratches on surface. Pacer(like Pico Macom 900CS) demodulator can be used as an analog tuner which includes demodulation of channel 2/3/4 of old retro computer or gaming consoles. It takes a RF input from VCR/Atari 400/800/2600/Pong C140/etc. systems and gives a clear audio/video output on the TV. It allows setting of channel and selecting the various types of signals- TV/Cable/IRC/etc. This will convert the RF signal from an Atari 2600. 5200, 400, 800, XL, XE, VCR, Commodore 64, C-140 Atari Pong, etc. to separate audio and composite video for hooking up to modern TVs that take A/V input. Note that some of the connectors are coaxial so they require the ... moreF adapter(s) that converts the video and audio to RCA type connectors. But these are available for less than a buck. This also supports MPX Audio and composite audio so you can output stereo audio along with composite video. Given the wipe out of analog RF channel decoding on many modern LCD TVs, you can add this demodulator to that modern TV to allow for decoding the analog RF signals into the A/V component signals which modern LCD TVs do support. Though the one on the left does have some phosphor spots as described below. Portable CRT and Yoke Assembly. I have 2 of these units and don't remember where I got them decades ago. It might have been from our local technical high school that gave me their tube-era stuff when they quit teaching that technology. Both units look quite nice on the outside. I have not cleaned them up at all. One has some black marks on the screen of the CRT. It looks like it would clean up with some solvent or razor blade. The CRT looks good. Visually. The second CRT has the a mark in the phosphor near the center of the screen and the yoke has had all the wires cut ... moreoff which is why I think it came from the High School.
