Im sure a good cleaning/oiling is in order. I dont know anything about these reels. But I have to believe the plate on the left side can be switched for a left handed reel? PFLUEGER PRESIDENT 6720 REEL ULTRA LIGHT TROUT REEL
The auction is for a used Pflueger President 6720 ultra light reel. The reel has a few nicks on it but spins beautifully. It has 8 ball bearings. Gear ratio is 5.2:1. It seems that the anti reverse dosen't work so it can spin forward or reverse despite it being on or off. That is why I am selling it. I believe that it is only a spring but I am unsure how to change it. It is also comes with fireline on it. Any questions please ask. This reel worked great until the reverse stopped working. Nice vintage hard to find SHAKESPEARE SUPRA XT 1000 Fishing reel The reel is in good working condition. The only thing that I can see is that there is an emblem missing on the side of the reel as pictured. I know this because I have two of them(only one in this auction) Check out my! I believe you can use this in salt water but the reel was only used in fresh water. It has a 3 bearing system. LB/YD 14/180 and 16/150, gear ratio 5.3:1, this is a really nice precision reel.
