Here we have a vintage industrial counter. It counts when the lever is pushed down and resets when you turn the knob. The digits are off to the left some but you still can just see that first row on the left. On the face there is a melted spot in the plastic. You can see the spot near the#5 in the picture. The bracket was made and the counter was mounted to the bracket. The counter came off an Acme Gridley that ran back in the day. There is no date but it has a model or serial number on the side of counter in red of“34– 29” The counter measures approx. 3 inches in overall length. The housing is approx. 2 inches wide. 1 ¼ inches deep and 1 ¼ inches tall. The gear is approx. ¾ inch in diameter with 36 teeth. The four(3) digit counter is in working condition and counts to 999 before returning to 000. It turns freely in both directions. I could not find anything on it that tells me it is resettable.
