It had apparently been used briefly. The unit has three holes on its face for attachment to other equipment. It has a thumb wheel on its white face to reset the counter. It has a nylon geared pullley attachment for connecting to the device to be counted. Such counters are used to count events on a variety of equipment in industrial applications. A Vintage Veeder-Root 3 Digit Mechanical Counter Hartford Conn. You are bidding on an original vintage used Antique Veeder-Root Mechanical Counter. The date on bottom is Sept 25. 1950. The counter measures approx. 3 inches in overall length. The four(3) digit counter is in working condition and counts to 999 before returning to 000. It turns freely in both directions. Condition is good. Missing only a little of the label and black paint on the edges. Appears to be mostly made of a ferrous metal(reacts to magnet) with a brass gear.
