Roland AC-60 2x6.5'' 30 watt Guitar Amp Guitar Amp Combo
Up for sale is a used but in perfect working condition Roland AC-60 amp. Comes with original box. Paper work and gig carrying case. Has only been used last few years for home and Church services. The only minor defect is the plastic clip that holds the tilt back stand in place is broke. Vintage 1964 Gretsch (Valco Made) 6150T 5 watt TUBE AMPLIFIER with Tremelo
Very nice example of Gretsch 6150T tube amp(made by Valco) This amp sounds incredible. And has no flaws functionally. Cosmetically, this looks better than the photos- I can't seem to capture it well. For example, the grille cloth is perfect, not stained, and appears as it should- yet in the photos, does not look that way. Only flaws are: 1. Missing Gretsch emblem 2. Some normal wear on a couple of the black letters on the faceplate- which you should be able to see in the photos 3. Some very minor(I would say normal) fine scratches in parts of the chrome faceplate- probably from cleaning- actually looks better in real life than in the photos. I have owned this amp for about 3 years. Have used it occassionally in my living room and love the sound. Early 1963 Fender Champ Amplifier 5F1 Original w/ Tweed Pre-CBS 5 Watt Class A
A rare original gem- the last of the"Tweed" twill) Fender amplifiers- an early 1963 Champ. By the end of 1963 Fender had run out of the twill covering and was wrapping the Champ in"Blackface" like the rest of the Fender Amplifier line. This features the coveted 5F1 circuit. Used heavily in recording studios for the last 50 years. The amplifier looks to be nearly 100% original with three small exceptions- the fuse holder was replaced, one capacitor may have been swapped, and the tubes were recently changed. Still has the original CTS speaker(dated 40th week of 1962) that has never been repaired or reconed. Because it is 51 years old, it can sound lightly distorted at full volume with very bass-heavy guitars(Les Paul with the tone rolled back)most people find it desirable. We opted to leave that original speaker in to preserve ... moreoriginality as we also left the original 2-prong power cord. The tweed/twill is quite beat up but is still secure to the amp and without significant tearing. The original leather handle is in quite good too! Our amp tech just serviced this amplifier and it is ready to plug and play. He cleaned some oxidation on some of the services and replaced the power tube with another vintage 6v6 that tested better. During the process he fell in love with it as these Champs are the tube amp enthusiast's dream. All the serial numbers stamped around the chasis match to early 1963. 1961 Supro 1606 "Rat Rod" 5 watt tube amp with fresh cap job Valco Oahu

I've had it in my closet since 1983. I call it a"Rat Rod" because it's well worn but it's all there under the hood. I just went through it and did a cap job. The original cap can is still there intact. I bypassed it with fresh electrolytics. They say. Just gone through and given a clean bill of health. This one has been gone through and given a clean bill of health. All original electronics are there and intact. I didn't change anything that didn't need to be changed. This still has the orignal two conductor power cord, the original loose covering, the original finger jointed pine cabinet and the original rust on the ... morecontrol panel. Astonishingly it's nice and clean inside. The surfaces of the chassis inside the cabinet are shiny. The outside surfaces are obviously weathered. This is not a loud amp! Great bedroom amp. It has a 1962 Oaktron 8" eight inch) alnico speaker. It's not a"loud" speaker. It would probably be twice as loud with a modern speaker such as a Weber or WGS. Supro used grid leak bias on the preamp years after other manufacturers switched to cathode bias. That results in a seething distortion tone. It's a'60s amp with a'50s circuit. It absolutely nails Clapton's recent blues tone with my Stratocaster. It does so at a lower volume than any of my other 5 watt amps. Tube lineup is 12AX7. 6V6 and 5Y3. This will be shipped with quality U.S. made tubes contemporary to the amp. This item is USED and will be sold in"AS-IS" condition. Just because I'm a technician doesn't mean you can have a line out or an FX loop on this. I spent a full day on it already. It's a crude old amp. It is what it is. It has been freshly serviced. Hello. And welcome to my auction. Today, I have a Jet City Amplification PicoValve guitar amplifier head up for bids. This item is used, but in very good to excellent physical and working condition. The PicoValve is modeled after the THD Univalve amp, and was designed by Andy Marshall and licensed by THD Electronics. The PicoValve is a compact, low-wattage tone machine capable of being run in a pentode(5 watt) or triode(2.5 watt) configuration. The low wattage options mean you can get that cranked tube amp sound without blowing your eardrums out in the process, which makes these amps great for practicing at home, or recording. It features a 5w/2.5w power selector switch, preamp gain, bass, middle, treble, bright switch, and master volume controls. You have a variety of speaker outputs at 4, 8, and 16 ohms, giving you more flexibility on the ... moretype of cabinet you want to run it out to. Topping it all off, the chassis and cage housing are made of cold rolled steel, giving this thing a pretty cool look. The amp normally comes stock with a 6L6 tube in the power section, and two 12AX7s in the preamp. The cheesy original preamp tubes got swapped with an RCA 12AX7A, and a Sovtek 12AX7WB while trying to get some different sounds. You can also experiment with swapping the power tube with nearly any octal-based tube, without having to re-bias the amp. I bought this Blackstar to replace my Marshall DSL 15 watt combo with the same 12" speaker and 2-channel switching. I didn't know much about Blackstar except for reading some reviews. And I'm quite impressed! The Blackstar has a better clean channel, and the reverb is far better. The gain channel is equal to the Marshall but with more bottom end. The clean channel doesn't break up like the Marshall does. And has a tone knob that the Marshall lacks making it more useful. And again, the reverb is much better.not Fender kinda good, but as good as digital reverb gets. It is the same reverb unit used in their high end models. Not many Mark V's have EL34's. It cost an extra $200 to buy them and have them put in. If you have been waiting for the right Mark V. Then I suggest considering this one as the EL34's are the tubes that you want in this amp, and the work has already been done. This amp can do it all. And do it all well. It has chimey cleans, sparkling high notes, crunch and the best high gain tones from brighter 80's metal to modern detuned and darker voiced harcore this amp can ... moredo it all. I wont go over all the specs. But basically this head is the perfect live head because it can do anything from the footswitch. It has a long footswitch cable which can turn on/off: a button for each channel(with assignable eq, mode, wattage and tube/SS rectifier selection per channel) reverb, mute, solo level boost, eq, and effects loop. Did I miss anything? The amp functions flawlessly and currently has Mesa brand EL34's installed! These tubes make the tone that much more warn IMO. The head is in great shape with very low hours played at reasonable volume levels played mainly through a 2x12 cabinet. It pretty much looks new barring a crack on the left side of the footswitch. This is purely cosmetic. It does not effect the function or integrity of the footswitch. I have cycled through all of the footswitch settings and each channel so you can see that all of the lighs work and that each channel/function works properly. Epiphone 5 watt tube jr. half stack, beautiful, 12" speaker
This is a nice Epiphone 5 watt tube amp with head and cabinet. The unit is a 2008 model. I have used it some but it has never been used at a volume higher than 1/2. It puts out a lot of sound for a 5 watt unit. It has a 12" speaker and a nice clean sound. This unit works well with a foot pedal as it is a clean natural sound and no accessory sounds on it. So. When you set your peddle it will always be what you set it at for sound. It handles up to 70 watt power. It is 16 ohm speaker. And jacks on head for 4, 8, and 16 ohms units. Hate to part with it but need the money. Shipping is $40 in the lower 48 states.

Volume, tone, stand by and main power switch then 6.3V fender glass jewel lamp back side: 2amp fuse folder 8 and 4 ohm output jacks. Everything is brand new: JJ tubes. This is a well cared for Fender Vibro Champ XD 5 watt Class A tube amp. It lists at Guitar Center for $249.00. I just got a big Marshall amp given to me so am selling this one. I have had it since new and it is in very good condition and works fine. Purchased at Guitar Center in Fort Worth in summer 2011. It has 16 presets and a manual to help with the settings. I used it with a peddle and it really puts out the sound. It has an 8" speaker. And 5 tube watts are equall to 30 or more electronic watts for sound. Plus with a tube you can get a authentic Gain Rock sound.

Hand-Built 5 Watt All-Tube Guitar Amplifier
Offered is a hand built 5 watt guitar amplifier. That was originally purchased as an AX84 High-Octane Project Kit from Doberman Music Products. The basic kit was purchased along with a couple of optional upgrades: The octal socket upgrade and the variable bias upgrade. In addition to the optional upgrades, the amplifier has been further modified to improve tone and reduce noise. Both a choke and two rectifier snubbers were added to the power supply to reduce power supply buzzing. A hum balance control was added and the heater voltage was elevated to reduce heater hum. Orange Drop" polypropylene coupling capacitors were added to increase the clarity of the high frequencies. And some of the coupling cap and bypass cap values were reduced in order to roll off some of the amplifiers bass response to make the amp sound more defined when playing ... moresaturated hard rock and metal tones. Also, a switchable high frequency cut control was added to the second gain stage, and a switchable 2nd harmonic booster was added to the cathode follower stage. These mods increase the amplifier's useable range of tones. The amplifier has been built and modified with care. And is now several years old. It has been though a long process of adjustments that has brought it into its present configuration. As a result there are some minor signs of wear on the chassis. All is in tip top working condition, and the amplifier is ready to play. It is also ready to mount into a cabinet, if so desired. Plans on how to build a cabinet are included in the project's documentation on the AX84 website. The unit comes with 1 Sovtek 12AX7. 1 JJ 12AX7, 1 JJ EL-84, and 1Electro-Harmonix 6V6-GT. The two power tubes can be interchanged. The EL-84 is more rockish, and the 6V6-GT is more bluesy. Secondly, this particular one uses expertly soldered and very short copper interconnects which translates to optimal signal path electron conduction. This short signal path, with optimized signal allows for the phenomena of second order harmonics to occur. Notes contain a certain ring to them that hearkens back to the great vintage amps of old. The output transformer is actually 50's, paper wound. The power transformer is an overly stout USA made Hammond. This amp was purchased new in either late 2007 or early 2008. It was gently used– in fact. It's never even left my house– for the first few years, and it's been stored on a closet shelf for the past couple of years. The amp works great and is in excellent condition. The only blemishes I've found are slight white paint marks on the back side of the top of the amp(see photo) where it apparently rubbed against a still-wet wall. Great for folks who need only a small amp for home use or for players looking to take a baby step into the tube market.

Marshall Class 5 amplifier head. It is used. But in perfect working order. The stock tubes have been replaced with a Chinese Penta 12ax7, a Tung Sol in the 2nd 12ax7, and a Mullard reissue el84. It sounds good, has nice break up even with single coils. I bought this to go with a 2x12 cab that I got, but I loaned the cab to a friend while I was trying to move and he fell in love with the cab and ended up keeping it(he's an old friend too) This head has sat around unused for a while so I thought I would let it go. I've never heard a 5 watt single-end EL84 tube guitar amp that sounded better than this one. I've made practice of buying and rehabilitating discarded Newcomb and Califone phono/microphone amps. And this is a real gem. It's had the full recap and mod treatment to make it a guitar amp, and for its size and power, it roars. A 6X4 rectifier, 6U8A triode/pentode preamp tube, and a lone EL84/6BQ5 output pentode make up the tube complement.
