I've used this amp for a few years with my classical guitar mated to an Ultrasound DI-Plus and a separate preamp for weddings and gigs. As a classical musician. This was perfect. Not too heavy, portable, and the sound quality was great. Selling item as-is, but is working great. I'm no longer in the music industry, so selling my gear. It's been broken in gently over the past year. First using a 5 watt Jet City'Picovalve' head, and then a VOX'AC15C1' amplifier. Home use only in smoke free environment. Original Box included. 100 dB sensitivity. Cone is flawless and with no scratches to the paint- the speaker looks new but sounds sweet. Mounting holes look great too. This is a Celestion Vintage 30 guitar speaker.12" 50 watt,8 ohm. I was told this speaker has a voice coil issue that was responible for some rattling on certain notes. I was changing the speaker to get something a little warmer and the amps still rattles when I hit certain notes with the new speaker. So go figure? Anyway I have no idea if something is wrong or I just have a rattling amp. Since there was some confusion and some jack ass with an agenda flagged my last listing of this item it is being relisted with a clearer description. You are bidding on a Fender 1x12 guitar cabinet it looks to be a either a Deluxe or Princeton cabinet but with dimensions of 21x17x10 doesn't seem to fit design exactly. I believe this to be a Fender cabinet of 90's vintage built by Fender in the Fender factory the amplifier portion of the amp was removed and converted to an extension cabinet about 12 years ago. It is currently loaded with a Jensen Special design 8 ohm 30 watt speaker and weighs about 20lbs. Condition is excellent except the guy I bought it from(Read Amplification-who described this as an actual Fender part) fabricated the upper baffle board and covered it with some sort of non-tolex black fabric. Also, the green speaker cab is NOT included. You get one handmade, handwired Bluzamp low wattage amp(Class A, in the 5– 8 watt ballpark) Based upon the design of the Fender 5F1 circuit, but with the following changes, uses EL84 power, 12AX7 preamp, single ended– no rectifier tube needed. The chassis is sturdy steel, the amp was made in Kalama WA by an expert amp builder. This amp when cranked has a satisfying 60’s type low heat fat crunch, that can easily keep up with the heaviest ... morehanded drummer. Works fine, requires no biasing for the power tube, just throw them in, it's cathode biased. Operates in hot class A, crank up an efficient speaker in a good cab, and the neighbors will be knocking at the door. ECL86's are EL-84's with half a 12AX7 in them as well so you can figure it puts out 15-18 watts like most EL84 cathode biased push-pull amps(AC-15, Marshall 1974x) Big magnet and big voice coil for an 8" Alnico speaker. Greasy and grindy tone, not a lot of headroom if you are looking for cleans, bottom end holds together when driven much better than P8R's. Perfect condition. No rips tears or abuse.
