This is a Nortec Piranha power rake skid steer attachment. It has a 6' drum. Two front pivoting wheels, hraulic drum drive and hydraulic angle. Only one auxillary hydraulic circuit is needed because you switch between drum drive and angle with an electric toggle switch that attaches inside the cab with a magnetic bracket. The unit is very heavily constructed and isin very good condition. It has not had a lot of use. It is similar to the Harlee Rake, but one key difference is that the carbide bits are rectangular rather than round as on the Harlee rake. This makes the bits very strong and won't break off as easily as the round ones not just because of the size and shape but because they are attached with a much greater weld surface. Tracks are like! They were recently used on a New Holland L175 with a 42.5" wheelbase. They will fit many different makes and models because they are adjustable and the front idler that gets mounted will pivot 5" to adapt to different wheelbases. The loegering system is in great shape with good sprocket and rollers. This system makes a skid steer unstoppable. Go anywhere or do anything. They add weight down low which is great for hilly terrain and make it extremely stable with any load anywhere. Although they add weight, the psi and the low ground impact is incredible with the 12" wide tracks. The VTS system also adds ground clearance which is nice for going over rocks, manholes, and obstacles in the woods. Skid Steer Attachments Tree Shear - Erskine, Used
This is a one-owner. Used about 6 hours, Erskine Tree Shear. Works fine. Bought it brand new to work on hiking trails with downed trees on fed land, but the feds decided to bulldoze the trail system for fire abatement right after I got it. Can't see where the 22 year old trail is anymore so no need for this tree shear. Used it for some land clearing at our resort and it worked great. Just don't have that much land clearing now as this shear is capable of doing so it sits. Notice the blade edge. It is still sharp with only one little nick in it. Purchased in spring of 2010 and it appears that they are made exactly the same way today. I tested it out again and it cuts absolutely fine. Trees always drop to the right. Very powerful and reasonably fast if you crank up your engine idle a bit. I put one ding in a hose that peeled a bit of ... morethe rubber off the hose about the size of your thumb(see picture) In that same event, the other hose outside cloth was ripped a little but the hose is fine. mclaren over the tire diamond skid steer tracks 14x17.5 tires jd332 and others
here is a set of tracks i bought new for my 332 jd skidloader with 14x17.5 tires. i only used them for a couple years on the farm but have had them for several. i have since traded skidloaders and went with runflat tires. they work great for floataion and traction. they are the mclaren diamond protrac over the tire grouser pads. we have a couple extra pads and all the toolkit mclaren provided with the book. one person could put them on in 30 minutes and not kill himself doing it. the track adjusting tool makes tightening them a breeze when needed which isnt often but when you take them on and off like we did tire wear was greater when they were off and usually they needed adjustment if we went 6 months before we put them on. if your looking for a very good used set of tracks that you can bolt on and go these are the ones. we have the spacers ... moreto set them out just a little. some say you need them others say no but it was tight without them and i would recomment them. with a 84 inch bucket you still cleared the tracks for width. i just checked my dealer cost on this package and it is $3040 today. antime i ran these on concrete i had no issues. these are as good a set of tracks as i could find when i bought them. we are located in corning ia. and pickup will be from here. i will ship them anywhere if you line up the freight company or load at anytime. my delivery chg. is $1 per loaded mile up to 500 miles. thanks for looking and bid with confidence her. This is for a 100 to 200 or 18.000lb to 40'000lb size excavator. Plate is 24" x 32" It works as it should. We had tested it on a machine. Sold as is where is. We can machine load as it's heavy. After the engines arrive to us 1. we build a simple console for easier checking. Stock keeping and for transport after sale. 2. change the oil and oil filter and after attaching water and fuel hoses our mechanics start the engines. If the engine starts easily and runs smooth. Without smoke we let it run 20-30 minutes. In case the engine oil becomes noticeable dirty, we change it one more time or even 2-3 times. 3. remove the engine oil.
