Ariens 36" brush sweeper attach to fit 924000 series snowblowers- complete/works
A used 36" Ariens snow blower brush attachment with a very low reserve- don't miss out on this deal! This offer is for a used Ariens 36" brush attachment that fits a 924000 series two stage self propelled snow blower. This unit will fit many older Ariens snow blowers that have a frame model# that starts with 924XXX(ie. 924050. 924082, 924086 etc. The model# of this attachment is 824011 with a ser# 000279- the unit was produced for the Ariens Co. by Sweepster- probably the best known sweeper attachment company that there ever was. Let's get this part over with right now- no it's not super clean, and yes it has rust on it, but. the brush does spin, the gearbox and drive is functional now, and it will move snow right now if you want to. The unit is complete and it semi-functional, but it needs to have one of the gauge wheels ... morereworked and to be serviced for the upcoming season to make sure that the unit is ready for the worst winter has to deliver. Our inspection found the following: 36" clearing width Brush is powered by the chain and gearbox when the pulley is turned by hand as it is now. Drive chain is crusty- either needs lots of lube- or even better yet. Just put a new chain on it. Fork caster/ dolly wheel is in place on the left side. But the height adjuster bolt is frozen. The original wheel on the right side was lost- the included wheel and fork are from a similar unit, but will have to be slightly reworked for it to fit correctly. Brush material approx. 85% life left- brushes are slightly flattened in one spot from sitting on the ground too long. they will probably retake their form when the brush is used again. This brush never really received a lot of use prior to being left parked in the corned of the shed unused. Frame paint is a little(lot) crusty- nothing a can or two(or three) of black paint can't fix No drive belt is included- you'll need to re-use the belt that is currently driving your snow blower attachment.
