Large Brass Weight Set, 1, 2, & 3 lbs. fit on 3/4 inch shaft.
This set of three brass weights of 1. 2 and 3 pounds are precisely made and marked. They are of different lengths, but have the same outer diameter of 2.24 inches and the same inner diameter of 0.76 inches. Each of them has a brass set screw that can hold the weight securely in a fixed position along a 3/4 inch rod. Also, each of the three has a 1/2 inch diameter inspection hole drilled halfway through it. These inspection holes are scored precisely in the middle(lengthwise) so that the weight can be positioned and secured accurately along a 3/4 inch rod or shaft. I have no idea what these weights were used for or were a part of. If you know. Please advise. They would be useful in a Physics class to demonstrate angular momentum.
