There is a glass lid for the smaller weights. Not sure if the smaller weights are all there. Please see the photos. In the well with the smaller weights there is a length of black thread, not sure of its use. One of the small, triangular weights doesn't have the weight stamped on it and appears to be homemade. I'm not sure of the age of this set, but the Beech wood box and the nickel plated weights appear to be vintage. I have added a picture of the bottom, which shows significant wear from age.
