The Turbo-V200 Pump is a turbomolecular pump suitable for a variety of vacuum applications. It evacuates chambers from atmosphere to the 10 ^-9 mbar(Torr) range when backed by a two-stage mechanical pump. It features high pumping speeds for all gases. Especially heavy hydrocarbon molecules. And vapors. The mechanical structure of the pump rotor and bearings makes it resistant to accidental air inrushes. For sale is a used EXT250 Edwards turbo pump. Serial no. 016854843 It has been removed from a brain dead Q-TOF mass spectrometer. It is a used item meaning it spent some time spinning and listed as used. It has been tested to the extend our facility permits. The turbo pump inlet was attached to a vacuum chamber about 10L in volume and the outlet was pumped by a two stage mechanical vacuum pump. The chamber was equipped with a active pirani and cold cathode(Penning) vacuum gauges. Alcatel ATH 2300M Turbomolecular turbo vacuum pump + cables& controller This came from and R&D laboratory that made their own wafer handlers. They kept everything clean-room clean and this saw very little production use. Pump has some blade staining but no residue. Pump ran Argon and Oxygen but nothing hazardous. Ever so slight blemishes in isolated areas. Pump is 99% super clean and free of flaws. Controller has some minor fingerprint oxidation on chassis. Which is common, but controller was rack mounted and faceplate is super clean. Comes with power cable and controller to pump connection cable. Airco Temescal 514 Turbomolecular High-Vacuum Pump: Big turbo pump, 8" Inlet!
For sale is a big Airco-Temescal turbo pump. I purchased this pump a while ago from my local university's surplus store with the intent to experiment and play around with such a large turbo pump. It unfortunately ended up just sitting around as I could never really find an excuse to use a turbo pump this big. Therefore. I am listing it here in the hopes that it finds a good home. The turbo is in decent shape. With some cosmetic scuffs and scrapes on the exterior. The worst of the cosmetic damage is a couple of deep scuffs located on the body of the pump underneath the main inlet flange. See 5th picture. This auction is for the pump itself only, I do not have the matching controller that goes along with it. During the time I had the pump stored. The inlet has always been covered by a blank plate to prevent any additional dust getting in. ... moreNevertheless, the interior of the pump is somewhat dirty, with a bunch of old dust on the topside of the pump rotor. See 4th picture) It will most likely need a little cleaning before being put back into service. Most everything does anyways) The pump rotor spins very freely. And there are no sounds or signs of anything rubbing or binding. The blades are in excellent shape with no signs of any damaging crashes. I never did get the chance to apply power to the motor. So I cannot say if it is fully operational. Thus I am listing it in the"for parts or not working" category to reflect that. However I do not see anything that would indicate it could not be put back in service. All in all this is a super-inexpensive way to get your hands on a turbo pump(especially one this big) And with a little work I think this old fellow could be back in business.
