Pump was tested with an vacuum gauge and after 15 minutes it pulled a vacuum of 5x10-3 Torr. We noticed that if the pump was powered up with the vacuum gauge attached it would take a few minutes to achieve the pictured vacuum level. If the pump was powerd up with an open inlet port, and then the gauge was placed on the port it would achieve the level much faster.
