The Tektronix S-52 is a very fast tunnel-diode step generator with a rise-time of 25 ps or less. It is primarily intended for use with the 7S12 as a high resolution time domain reflectometer. But it can be used stand-alone with the appropriate power supply(which is how I tested it) I checked the output waveform against the manual and the pulse output agrees with w hat is given in the ma nual. I do not have a 7S12 so that is a s far as I could go. Calibration status is unknown. The cosmetic condition is good. With some scuffs and scratches on the sides. Be really careful with these, as the strips do fall out and are lost forever; I use Kapstan tape to keep them in place when not in use. I have NO idea if these probes work. And no reason to believe they don’t work; I’ve not had a target system to hook them up too. Hence the low price.
