I used this scope in my business years ago. I have had it in storage and have now decided to sell it. The scope seems to be in good working order. The dual sweeps. Vertical amplifiers and calibration functions are working. I have displayed the scope with the dual channels hooked to the(square wave) calibration plug. The AC and DC modes are working. I displayed my ac wall current to check AC(checked OK) I am sure the delay sweep section is working, as well. However, I don't have a way to check this out at this time. This auction is for a TEKTRONIX 1740A WAVEFORM/ VECTOR MONITOR racked with a TEKTRONIX 1705 SPECTRUM MONITOR. This ensemble appears to be in very good condition. Both items demonstrate nice functionality. Have good display intensity, no phosphor burn-in and are housed in a very clean rack mount, Pic#10. Both units have various capabilities and we have not verified all of the combinations in which they may be used. We have however verified functionality based on the following specific comments: REGARDING THE 1740A: a) Composite or component NTSC signals can be connected to any or all of eight input channels. We verified all eight input channels appear to function ... morecorrectly. b) Each type of waveform display has one level of magnification which can be selected by the front panel MAG button which we verified to be functioning. c) The five buttons arranged vertically to the right of the display are used to toggle various on-screen menus and operational conditions. The functionality of the menus and various set-up attributes appears to be correct based on our inspection using a Tektronix 1740/1750 series operations manual.
