Lightning Rod Ball damaged
This is one of those moon and stars balls but looks like someone shot it with a BB gun while it was mounted on the roof. The"neck" on either end of the ball has the usual chipping but better than some I've seen. I thought perhaps if you were going to mount it on the roof. The holes wouldn't really be noticed. There is some cracking around the holes but it has held together well over the years I have had it laying around. Some black shading on the inside one end like perhaps some paint overspray or soot or something. Thought maybe someone would have a use for it. I am not sure what type of photograph this is but nonetheless it is quite charming. It came with an old chest that I purchased at an estate sale many years ago. She is very representative of young women of the Civil War period I think. Whose dear one was perhaps in harm's way. I hope all went well for this young lady and her loved one. As can be seen. The case will need some mending.

Delta 7 bike frames, 56cm Road and 18 In. MTB frame, damaged for repair
Check out these bad boys! Delta 7 was a Utah based company and was known for their distinctive truss design tubes. The frames are only available as a pair. And BOTH need repairs to be safely ridden, this is something that can be done(I am a frame builder and carbon repair guy, be happy to quote the winning better to get these back on the road) Limited number of these frames were made. WWII - BATTLE DAMAGED! - JAPANESE ARMY NCO SAMURAI SWORD WITH MATCHING SCABBARD
Next up for sale is a beautiful WWII Japanese Type 95 NCO sword. The sword is fresh out a group of items from a pacific theater WWII veteran. The sword is complete with matching numbered scabbard(127115) and is in nice condition. There is some battle damage to the grip where a bullet or some shrapnel went clean through. It's a nice piece of military history that really illustrates the violent horrors of war. The bullet or shrapnel than hit the sword may well have also hit the soldier. Or was soon followed by something that did. If you look closely at the pictures you can see what looks like dried dark blood residue in some of the diamonds of the Aluminum grip. The blade measures 27 3/8" from the tip to the hilt. The blade has some rust and shows some old fine abrasions as seen in the pictures. The scabbard is dent free and the sword ... morecatch functions perfectly. It's just a really great sword with loads violent history. This sword will make a great addition to your collection. This auction does not include the uniform or flag. The auction is just for the sword and scabbard. Original WWII Japanese swords are getting hard to find. PLEASE SEE THE LOAD OF PICTURES SHOWN BELOW!
