The Bottom Line: The Accent is a wonderful addition to any sewing/crafting room. The BabyLock Accent Embroidery machine is a workhorse. There are machines that stitch faster and have a larger stitching field than the Accent but none can match it for its stitch quality. The Accent accepts embroidery cards into a slot on the side. The Accent then reads the data for the stitch placement from the card. Your garment is placed into a special hoop that is attached to the embroidery arm. That arm will move front/back and side to side to create your design. You must change the thread for each color change. With the automatic threader. This chore becomes easy to do. ... moreYou don't change the bobbin thread for each color change. The bobbin thread is a thinner thread so it does not pull up to the top of the design. Shrinky Flowers are not created using standard applique techniques; instead they are created in a two-step process. Plus tutorials, re-sizing program, catalog and design color sheets. I tested this CD on my computer and with my embroidery software(Embird) to make sure that it worked. And it was perfect. The CD is in excellent condition and appears unused. The CD looks a bit discolored in the third photo; that is merely the light from the scanner. The seal on the package had previously been slit.
