Comes with the original instruction booklet(copyright date 1948) Green plastic case, five buttonhole templates, feed cover plate( screw) slotted clamping screw(for fastening attachment) There is also a generic flathead screwdriver with a broken handle that comes free with this set. Templates are: 5/16. 13/16, 15/16, 5/8, 1 1/16. This set was owned by a master seamstress. It is in well-used condition. The black paint has worn off of the buttonholer attachment along the edges(see close-up pictures) it has minor surface rust in places. The instruction booklet is creased and the corner is damaged. The green case has scratches all over and wear around the edges. The generic screwdriver has a broken handle. Selling in as is. Used condition.

I think this is a model S1. I haven't seen another one like this. Chipped paint in a few spots. This was used a considerable amount. I believe it is an industrial machine. There are screw holes on the edges of the machine to secure it to a base. The inside is clean. The outside needs a proper cleaning and would most likely need oiled before use. Very nice older Singer sewing machine button hole attachment. It has the metal plate and two button hole pieces. It appears to be in good condition. But I don't know if it works. The case is turquoise and is in very good condition. The hinge is unbroken and the latch secures tightly. The case measures about 11" x 4 1/4" x 3" high. It has four feet on the bottom of the case. Nice vintage piece of sewing memorabilia.

This rare. Rare circa 1870 antique treadle sewing machine was manufactured by The American Button Hole Overseaming and Sewing Machine Company of Philadelphia. Pa. The condition of this approximately 140 year old machine is good. It appears that. At some time in its life, the wood table and bonnet were refinished. I noticed some wood discoloration in the right hand end of the table and bonnet. There is also an inch long separation in the table top on the right hand end and the front bonnet latch is missing. At some time, wood reinforcements were added to the inside of the bonnet and wood filler was applied to two opposite outside corners. The sewing machine mechanism seems to work smoothly, however; the drive belt is missing. The painted finish on all the metal parts appears to be original but as can be expected, has faded with time.
