Up for bid is a Vintage Antique Union Metal Tackle Box(2 Tray) Filled With Old& New Lures. You get all pictured. Hula Poppers. Waterdogs, cisco kid, spoons, spinners a fly reel from Japan, sonic, Penquin Line, hooks and assorted tackle. Also a big ocean squid type lure. The guy that had this fished whatever was in the water he was at. Some lures have worn finish and the reel has some as well as some oxidation. Box is 14.25" long x 7.25" wide x 6.25" deep. Colorimeter patented by Thomas D. Simpson& A.Clayton Woodman on May 27. 1924 to aid in determining the color of liquids, particularly lubricating oils. Patent number 1,495,763. Manufactured by C.J. Tagliabue MFG. Co. of Brooklyn, NY. Licensed by Sinclair Refining Company. Top retains the tag shown in image 7. Side retains the tag shown in image 8. Wood retains a worn original finish. Adjustable lamp and all other metal components retain a grimy original finish consistent with years of service in the oil industry. Opal glass panel at the end of the viewing box is intact and free from damage. Parabola reflector retains the original, blue Quality Daylight, lens. Socket is a HUBBELL turn key. Brass knob raises and lowers magazine of numbered color standards. The top marker which I assume would be 0 is missing, see image 9. The markers go ... moreall the way up to number 8. Hinged mirrored door used to view standard number is present and functional, see images 4,5, and 11. Socket has been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. This is a Super Rare set of etched globe lanterns from the UNION 1 Fire Company in Carlisle Pennsylvania which was Organized in 1789. Both lanterns are solid brass with acid etched globes that are marked“ UNION 1” inside a wreath. The lanterns were manufactured by the Kelly Lamp Company and both screw type fount holders are marked“ W. Westlake Pat. Sept. 12’ 65. Dec. 12’ 65, Apr. 7’ 66, Kelly Lamp Co. Rochester. N.Y. Both lanterns stand 10 ½” tall not including the height of the bales. They have the original whale oil burners. The thick glass globes are flawless and have no chips. Cracks or scratches. Railroad clock Union Pacific
The clock measures approx. 8"h by 7"w-it tapers to 5"w at base. The wood holder is 1.5" thick and the quartz clock itself is approx. 3.5" diameter. It is fully operational and uses a single AA battery-included. Roman numerals with a second hand. There ar e some minor scratches on the wood finish. The Union Pacific logo is laser engraved with the shield and train/tracks circumventing around. The distinctive feature of this clock is it is made of Timeless Timber of recycled hardwoods from Lake Superior. The logs were felled in the 1800's and sunk in the lake. The wood is estimated to be over 500 years old. The wood is very beautiful. The clock comes with a booklet explaining the history of the recycled hardwoods. On reverse of clock there is laser engraving certifying the authenticity of the hardwoods(see picture.

This set comes from my personal collection. I have too many. Engine has been gone over by me and rehabbed with new brushes. Cleaned commutator, cleaned gears and wheels, oiled at the right locations. This is true also for the passenger cars and all wheels turn freely. MARX M10005 Union Pacific passenger train with the following 5 cars: Railway Express Agency mail car/post office. Denver(2) Omaha, Squaw Bonnet. Engine has forward and reverse. Working headlight. This set will run for hours and switches from forward to reverse easily, especially after it has been warmed up a bit whcih is typical of MARX engines. Paint is very good. Some cars better than others. the worst car is the Railway Expresss car with some dents that have been rehabbed a bit. Other cars have no dents. Some axles have a bit of rust but minimal and does not affect running ... moreability. All cars track smoothly and do not jump the track at rail joints considering how light they are. Look at the pictures carefully to establish condition. Ask questions if in doubt. This is a very nice set and runs very well. Both forward and reverse. Very nice and in very nice condition for it's age. I inherited this piece from a family member and have had possession of it for approximately 35 years. Made in Czechoslavakia. Union T Maker's Mark. In addition to the maker's mark, 772 II is imprinted as is 1435 and 8. The gold trim is worn. There are no chips on the top of the platter and no chips on the bottom of the platter. The design is floral. It is an oval shape. Measures 11" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/2" Porcelain material. The floral design is completely intact. Would be perfect for a vegetable platter.
