You get: 1860 Military Map( 2 1/2 inch section of paper map missing in the left hand corner by the picture of soldier and at top left)23 X 11.5 inches) Union Infantrymen 11.5 X 28 inches Union Line Officer 1862 11.5 X 28 inches, Confederate Infantrymen(papers a little lose in right hand corner) 11.5 X 28 inches, Confederate Drummer boy 11.5 X 28 inches, I'm not sure the age of these. They appear to be paper lacquered or preserved onto the boards. The boards are very heavy uty. Please ask any questions.

This wonderful CDV Photo measures approx. 2 1/2" by 4" including the original card mount) The CDV features a full length portrait of an unidentified soldier wearing the uniform of a Union Army Private. The soldier stands in a photographer’s studio grasping the barrel of his rifle the butt of which rests on the floor. He wears a kepi and there is a bayonet scabbard at his belt. On the stand next to him there is a haversack with bed roll. The soldier's pants and his bed roll feature original blue hand coloring while the drape on the table is colored red. The Soldier is VERY young. Certainly in his teens, yet he has the look of one who has"seen the elephant" many times. 1910 Civil War Picture-3 Union Soldiers-Glimpse at a Homelike Scene During War
This picture was in a cedar trunk I bought at an estate sale. Along with some other old pictures and documents. The picture is Copyright 1910 by Patriot Publishing Co. It is from the Photographic History of the Civil War, Published by Review of Reviews Co. I am assuming the photo is reprinted from an older one but it's still 1910 photo depicting the home life during the civil war. Zoom in on the picture and it's not stains on it, I'm not sure what it is unless it's just the age of the picture and paper used but it's about the same as stains pretty much all over it. If you like patina, this picture is for you, it would look great framed in an old type picture frame, especially if the frame had as much patina on it as the old picture. Union Veterans' 24th Annual Encampment- Grand Army of the Republic Medal w/Eagle
This pewter medal. Which is hanging from a patriotic brass eagle pin(in virtually pristine condition) was made to commemorate the 24th Annual Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic, held in Boston, Massachusetts in August of 1890. The medal itself has had a bit of a rough life, as it has quite a bit of wear as well as some dents along the edges(largely due to the softness of the metal) Nevertheless, all of the details are readily visible, and the piece displays well. It would make an excellent addition to any collection.

Civil War Re-enactment Union Soldier Cap
Dark blue civil war cap- material made out of wool with additional cloth hat liner. I believe the brim of the hat is leather as is the strap above the brim. There are two gold colored bottons on each side of the head strap with the U.S. eagle and the stars and stripes shield in front of it. On both buttons the eagle's head points to the left. The pics do not do the hat justice. But it is in very good condition with no damage to the wool or leather on the item. On the inside of the hatliner" 7X" has been written in black. This hat just needs a touch of t.l.c. and you will have an item that looks brand new. Feel free to ask questions and for additional pics.

I found this image tucked into a nice condition Union Case. During my inspection behind the image. I realized this photo is actual an oval sixth plate which most likely lived inside an oval case for a period of time. I guess is someone may have broken the cover glass and decided to protect her image by placing the photo in this new case. The woman appears to have been a redhead and has an amazing large braid styled on the crown of her head. Bottle curls cascade down to her shoulder. Accents of blue were added to her bow near her collar. A simply beautiful and rare milk glass ambrotype for your collection. Condition: Please view my detailed scans for the actual ... morecondition. This oval sixth plate is in mint condition and is held safely in place by the brass mat. Perserver and cover glass. The Union or Thermoplastic case has only three minor imperfections I can find. Developed in 1851 by Frederick Scott Archer, ambrotype, or amphitype, hails from the Greek words"immortal" and"impression. These images were impressed on glass through a variant of the wet plate collodion process. They required shorter exposure times than daguerreotypes and were more affordable to manufacture, two factors which contributed to their rise in popularity before the advent of the carte de visite in the early 1860s. Featured within this vintage Union Case is a lovely portrait of a seated couple. The woman donning a stylish ... morebonnet with a large bow, and the man is clad in a suit of the era. An elaborately embellished gold frame borders the image, and the interior of the front cover is lined with red satin.
