It is in great condition with the original dealerships stamp still intact. It has been cleaned, oiled and has a rewired, motor, foot pedal and power and is in great working condition. It does show natural signs of wear from natural use. It will sew pretty much anything, leather, canvas, silk, denim, nylon, etc. It has a direct drive motor which eliminates the driving belt so there be no slipping. The direct drive motor supplies constant strength and power. Don’t miss out on this one, they are not found in this condition very often. The machine also comes with the case and attachments shown. SINGER COBBLER SEWING MACHINE MODEL 29 k 51 HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL I came across this machine at a local estate sale. I oiled everything and made sure it sews as great as it should. As you can see from the photos it sews right through layers of thick denim. The needle has a 360 degree rotation. This machine shows some scratches. Decal loss, and will need cleaned as you can see in the pictures. This is one of the toughest sewing machines I have ever used. I am including a copy of the manual, it is for a 29k-4 but it is about the same. This machine has the serial number Y7344322. Which dates it to 1929. Antique 1900s Treadle Singer Sewing Machine Cast Iron Base Legs Industrial 1905 Description: Up for sale is this estate rescued Singer Sewing Machine cast iron base with treadle and flywheel from a Singer model 27 Sphinx Sewing machine made in 1905! This piece still has the original paint which is mostly black with gold highlights on the end emblems and the Singer in the middle piece! It does have some paint splatter and chips in spots but overall the paint is in good condition. The treadle does have some surface corrosion but it is still solid and rotates smoothly as does the flywheel. The 2 side panels are held on with 2 screws in each. One of the side screws was missing and we have replaced it with a bolt. You can see this in the 10th photo to the left or above. All four of the metal wheels are still attached however some of the original ... morescrews have fallen out and have been replaced over the years. RARE Vintage 1951 Industrial Singer Model 17-23 Sewing Machine Sews Leather!
This is a 1951 industrial Singer model 17-23. The 17-23 is best used for shoemaking and general leather work. T he manual says the speed can go up to 1.200 stitches per minute when installed on a"power table" Serial number AK569167 dates it to October 17. 1951. Only 1,000 of this model were made that day, and it's a rare model. 4,000 total were made by the end of the year. Here are some other features of this machine. This machine has a cylinder bed. Oscillating shuttle, and provides 10 1/2' of clear working space. It has a reversible feed, alternating pressers, roller presser, and long beak high point shuttle. I t has a diameter at end of the cylinder of 1 7/8' and a maximum stitch length of 6 1/3' The feed position can be from the left or right of needle. It uses a central bobbin. I don't have a foot pedal ... moreor bobbin to test it. But moving the hand wheel manually makes the needle go up and down fine. The needle needs to be replaced, and the machine likely needs a servicing. The motor installed at a later point on the machine will come with it. It's a YDK model YM-40 motor, and I don't know if it works due to not having a foot pedal. I didn't find where one would plug in even if I had one. Given the motor's not original this must originally be a treadle machine. I've only been able to find one of this exact model at the link below where it sold for $450+ shipping. But it was in better shape and working. This machine is missing a few screws in places and enamel loss but I don't see any parts missing necessary for it to work besides the bobbin, new needle, and foot pedal or treadle base if one wants to install it in one. As shown. Tested and working well but please note there are a couple issues. The plastic socket that the lightbulb would screw into has cracked and so will need to be replaced if you would like the light to work. Also the plastic base plate the machine sits on has warped a bit over time and does not fit tight, this can be seen in the photos and in no way affects the functionality of the machine. I can't find any other issues except for the fact the machine has yellowed a bit from age in a few places, this can also be seen in the photos. Singer Needle Feed Industrial Sewing Machine Leather, Jeans, Military issue
This is the Singer 111W151-HEAD ONLY- Also included in addition to the standard foot pictured on the machine. A welt foot, zipper foot, 1 bobbin and a pack of needles and a downloaded manual that is not exactly for the 111W151 but is about 95% correct. This head is complete and will sew once placed in your table. I have read somewhere that the W means it was made in Germany. I don't know 100% if that is true but I can attest to the quality of these old machines. I love this machine but I just can't keep them all. The Singer 111 series is the series that most other walking foot machines were cloned off of like Juki. Consew, Tacsew 111 etc. It was cloned because it is such a rock solid and effective class. It is a single needle. Lock stitch, rotary hook intended for high-speed stitching of medium heavy materials. This machine does not ... morehave reverse but reverse is really over-rated. Check out the attached video where I share 4 different methods for locking stitches without it. The Singer 111W151 differs from other models of the class 111 in that it has a single presser foot instead of the alternating presser foot. I like to think of it as a bridge between standard drop feed and walking foot machines. It kind of gives you advantages of both. This is the highly desirable needle feed which works in unison with the drop feed mechanism. I show a closeup of the feed action in my video so you can see exactly what I am talking about here. RARE VINTAGE WELL CARED FOR Minty Green SINGER SEWING MACHINE Class 15 15-125) Serial AM739038 Birthdate: July 15. 1957 INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH SEWS HEAVY MATERIAL AS EASILY AS LIGHTMATERIAL READY TO SEW In 1956 and 1958 Singer made a small amount of experimental machines. No doubt trying to catch up with the Japanese sewing machine companies who were knocking off the Singer design and putting different badges on them(such as Royal, Modernage and Remington to name a few) But in 1957, this appears to have been a banner year for experimentation as Singer designed and redesigned several machines. In 1957, Singer manufacturered various models of sewing machines.about 205,000 of them total. Out of that vast number, in 1957 only 25.000 of this particular model were made( about 12% of the total) This one has some minor nicks and tiny pin pricks on the ... morebody. Some rubbing of the finish occurs on the lower left hand edge where it would be dropped into a cabinet or case and partially hidden. Not that it's a big deal- see the photos- the edges usually take the most stress on machines of this age. Original bakelite refreshingly mint colored foot control(and the wires are all supple- not brittle as most machines of this age are) and has fancy stylized bakelite sewing lamp cover. The light switch works and has a working bulb in it. Cosmetically. I'd say she's in good shape. A very pretty machine. Comes with Class 15 bobbin and bobbin case. A nice quiet machine. Does not have that machine gun sound that a lot of vintage machines do. Nice and quiet and the foot pedal is precise enough that I can tap it with my toe to let the needle in the down position when I choose.
