Deck and body show very well with much less than average wear and tear for a 59 year old machine, and really lives up to the model 66's legendary sewing reputation. I purchased this machine from the grand daughter of it's original owner. Hello! You are bidding on a beautiful vintage Singer 404 Sewing Machine. It is in very clean condition and the motor runs strong and quiet. This auction includes the machine. Case, attachment box full of attachments and bobbins(see pics) pedal w/case. The case shows some signs of wear as you can see in the pics. There are some light scuffs but no cracks. The machine itself is in beautiful condition. There are no marks on it at all. All of the paint/finish is intact. The knobs and switches are all solid and move very sturdily. The pedal is also in very good condition. The machine looks like it was hardly used. All of the chrome is clean and shiny- no rust or signs of it whatsoever.
