Selling a very heavy.metal and chrome"White' 658 1950`s Leather-heavy canvas-fabric sewing machine in excellent vintage condition.The machine was built in the 1950s from Japan,it is made of metal and a small amount of chrome,the machine was taken out of a sewing machine table so it is being sold with no case or table.The machines motor is running well,all parts work,it is well oiled and clean,the light works but it may need adjustments or a tune,I am unsure as I am not familiar with this machine. The motor is very powerful using 1.3 Amps to power it,and the motor hums along powerfully when used,it does sew through heavy leather or fabric.The machine is very heavy 15 or 20 lbs.Please note the machine may need adjustments or knowledge of how to operate this very old machine correctly,using proper settings and threading string ect.

LOADED Singer 15-91 serial number AH902178(1948) Comes with pictured attachments. PLUS the zig zag attachment and extra cams for it. The paper manual is there for reference only. This machine does a great straight stitch with reverse and DIRECT DRIVE(aka potted motor) IT IS THE SMOOTHEST 15-91 I HAVE HAD. It has been in the same family since it was purchased new. They took good care of the machine. Replacing the power cord and motor brushes and keeping it properly lubricated. The decals are in decent shape with some pin scratching on the front"Singer" and the leading edge of the bed. Evidently they put their pins on the underside of the pin cloth. As a result. Most of the wear to the finish is on the underside of the arm and not readily noticeable. I did not notice it until I got it home and was cleaning it. You could set it up ... moreas a show piece and few people would notice the wear. If you need to do leather. Canvas, quilting and/or fine cotton this is the machine for you. Super quiet and smooth running when in use. The decals are intact and the paint is not faded. It was deep cleaned. Bobbin tire replaced, a ground wire for the case added, lubricated and the tension set according to the Singer standard. They used two layers of light cotton. Standard mercerized thread and a number 14 needle. I have shown in the pictures example pieces of its stitch quality. It flies through cotton quilt pieces. This is a vintage Singer heavy duty sewing machine model 99 in excellent working condition. It is designed to sew everything from lightweight material up to heavyweight material such as upholstery. Canvas and leather. It is a low shank, all metal straight lock stitch machine with reverse. It runs smooth and strong. Included are five accessories, one bobbin and needle. The foot pedal and wiring is in very good condition. The light fixture also works. The serial number AM270808 dates this machine to 1955. 2 singer 51 w 56 machine heads. Listed as"for parts- not working" BUT there are some good heads here. I would guess you could make one good head from these two. Both are set up with large needles. I can not tell you much else about these. I have them from when i purchased a huge lot of equipment and they have been stored on my shelf for a while now. Pick up or fright only!
