Deck and body show very well with much less than average wear and tear for a 59 year old machine, and really lives up to the model 66's legendary sewing reputation. I purchased this machine from the grand daughter of it's original owner. It's seen three generations of quilting and home repairs, so it shows a lot of chips and pin scratches here and there from use and handling, but runs as strong as the day it left the factory in 1954. Vintage Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machine. Serial Numbers indicate that it was made in 1953 and appears to be the Model 66 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine. I am not an expert in sewing or sewing machines. It was tested to sew a piece of fabric together which it did just fine. The light and pedal work. The hand wheel works. All of the levers and knobs move freely. Kenmore 148.12040 Industrial strength VERY heavy duty zig-zag sewing machine
This is one of the famous Japanese made Kenmore machines. These are among the best sewing machines ever produced by any manufacturer. This Model 148.12040 is one of the earlier models that is built like a tank. And this machine looks great. Obviously well taken care of over the years. It is an all metal machine so you can sew heavy materials without fear of ruining it. It has a plenty powerful 1.0 amp motor. It uses the short/low shank presser feet which is common and very easy to find additional feet if you need them. Ebay has plenty for sale by other sellers. This machine comes with a universal/combination/zigzag foot. That foot will do most any sewing. This machine also features the drop down feed dogs so you can do embroidery and darning. It will do straight. Reverse, and zigzag, and does them very well. It uses standard class 15 bobbins ... moreand standard needles. It also comes with a good foot control. As stated in the subtitle. This machine can sew heavy materials such as canvas, denim, vinyl upholstery, light leather, and Sunbrella, as well as very delicate materials. It's just a matter of changing needles and thread. And adjusting the thread tension. And a nice feature on most all the Japanese Kenmores is that the presser foot can be pulled up an extra amount with the lever so you can get thick. Fluffy material underneath. It will raise just about 1/2 inch total. This machine has a good case with it to protect it while not being used. A great old sewing machine from Singer Mfg Great Britain. This is the Spartan Black Sewing machine with foot pedal. Looks like the model 192K. In used condition, not my area of expertise and it is sold as found for parts, spares, repairs. The machine has been plugged in and moves fabric in the forward and backward positions when using the foot pedal. I do not have a bobbin and have not threaded the machine. I did place a piece of fabric under the pressure foot and it did advance the fabric in the correct direction at what looked like a consistent pace. As noted, sold as is since it is not completely tested. A neat look and heavy duty machine!

Vintage 1904 Singer 28K Manual Hand Crank Sewing Machine Coffin case heavy duty
Singer 28k manufactured in 1904 Hand crank. Lovely condition in very good working order. See the pictures for a better idea of condition It has a coffin style case and this has all the correct brackets and is in good condition. I have had to do some repairs on the case as it is 110 years old! but it has turned out fine and displays well. Machine Serial Number B296079 This machine comes complete with 4 bobbins and is ready to use. I cleaned it and tested it on 6 layers of denim. It stitched this easily and I have taken a picture of the result. White thread does not seem to show up well though. I will leave the resulting swatch with the machine. Union Special Model 80600F Sewing Machine Bag Closing Industrial Heavy Duty
Union Special Model 80600F industrial sewing machine. Originally made for closing cloth or jute bags etc. I believe the 80000 series machines have also been used for carpet serging and other applications, but do not know if this machine can be adapted to such purposes. The 80000 series is still offered by Union Special. This machine appears to have had moderate use from the overall wear and condition. I would say the mechanical condition is very good; little if any play in the'conrod' bearing. Quite clean inside except where dust has entered through open areas, probably mostly during long storage. With the needle'shaft' at full extension I can feel almost no play in it it when trying to wiggle it from side to side. There is some light rust on some exposed steel surfaces. Which would be easily removed with a fine rotary wire ... morewheel; easy for me at least! We could discuss doing that here if the buyer wishes) There appears to be one end cover missing. But parts are available from Union Special or other suppliers. The manual for this machine is available for download on the internet. Personally I would use carb cleaner and compressed air to blow out the dust that has stuck to the oily surfaces and then lubricate. With the steel surfaces cleaned. The machine is probably ready to use as is. Please remember that I am not an expert on this type of thing, but I do have enough mechanical sense and observational skill to tell as much as I have here. This will need to be packed in a wooden crate. And bolted to the bottom of the crate using the existing mounting bolt holes, with internal bracing if required. LOADED Singer 15-91 serial number AH902178(1948) Comes with pictured attachments. PLUS the zig zag attachment and extra cams for it. The paper manual is there for reference only. This machine does a great straight stitch with reverse and DIRECT DRIVE(aka potted motor) IT IS THE SMOOTHEST 15-91 I HAVE HAD. It has been in the same family since it was purchased new. They took good care of the machine. Replacing the power cord and motor brushes and keeping it properly lubricated. The decals are in decent shape with some pin scratching on the front"Singer" and the leading edge of the bed. Evidently they put their pins on the underside of the pin cloth. As a result. Most of the wear to the finish is on the underside of the arm and not readily noticeable. I did not notice it until I got it home and was cleaning it. You could set it up ... moreas a show piece and few people would notice the wear. If you need to do leather. Canvas, quilting and/or fine cotton this is the machine for you. Super quiet and smooth running when in use. The decals are intact and the paint is not faded. It was deep cleaned. Bobbin tire replaced, a ground wire for the case added, lubricated and the tension set according to the Singer standard. They used two layers of light cotton. This listing is for a Singer 348 Heavy Duty Industrial Strength Zig-Zag Sewing Machine and Attachments. First off prior to listing this I took it to the local Singer technician to have it completely gone through. It was oiled. Lubed, cleaned and adjusted. The tech stated that this machine is a workhorse that runs just as fast, powerful and quiet as it did when it was new and that it will last for many more generations to come. Which is why these machines are so sought after. It will sew through the toughest of leather all the way to the finest of silk. It has been taken really good care of and is in excellent condition cosmetically. It comes with working light, power cord, foot pedal, instruction manual, 7 different pattern disks, a zipper foot, an extra all purpose foot and 4 bobbins. Disk#1 has an occasional"skipped stitch" on ... morestitch width 2 and 3 but 4 works just fine(see first and second stitch on stitch pattern-I'm not sure why it does this and it only does this on this disk) You can actually purchase this disk right here on eBay for $6 if that's what it is. The other disks work just fine and they all make beautiful stitches. The bobbin winder also works just fine. I am selling a vintage Viking Husqvarna 21 sewing machine. With the original case, extension table, 2 manuals, foot pedal, extra pieces, etc. Please take a look at the pictures. It does power on, the light works, all the knobs seem to be in great condition. I utilized the foot pedal to run the machine and it seemed to work great almost every time I pressed it. Maybe once in every 15 presses the machine would turn on but wouldn't spin. It seemed like the belt might be slightly loose, a little spin of the wheel with my hand would jump start it. There are a couple minor paint chips, but overall the paint is in excellent condition. There are a couple other random scuff marks on the machine, but nothing that effects the performance.
