acme interlake B2AO bander. The bander looks good some light surface rust in a couple of spots.the bander will tighten fine and has a nice click and returns easy.It looks like a screw is missing and there is a name lightly engraved on both sides just above the acme interlake stamp on one side.

Gerr UP FOR AUCTION Is A Vintage Acme Gerrard England Strapping Banding Machine C-04283-Fl I Combine Shipping Up for auction is a Vintage Acme Gerrard Strapping/ Banding Machine model C-04283-Fl that is made in England. I am not 100% sure if this is for metal bands or for nylon type straps. It seems to function as it should. When you push the red handle forward all the way the geared arm can be slid all the way back and then if you move the red arm forward and back it moves the geared arm forward with a nice clicking noise coming from the 2 ratchet parts. The strapping machine shows some signs of wear and use as can be seen in the pictures. The handle has 2 spot welds that look old but i am not sure if it was original or an old repair. It seems to fu with some aging to the body of the machine. Measurements Fully retracted the tool measures ... more11” The measurement is for the main body and does not include the length of the handles that hang over. Its just from the front of the forward gripping jaw to the back of the geared arm. Handle with red ball measures aprox 9” long from end of ball to pivot bolt. This is a vintage yellow Acme Steel handle knob off Model N banding strapping machine. The knob is stamped on the top and is in solid condition. There is very light surface wear but really nothing. vintage tool banding acme? B2A0 C1204C bander
For Auction is a B2A0 Banding tool stamped C1204C. Other tools with this stamping were built by Acme Interlake. But it doesn't have a brand/country of origin stamped into it. The C1204C stamp is in the cast iron, while the B2A0 looks like it was placed with a punch. It appears to be a vintage quality tool. It seems to be in working condition, with all gear teeth in good condition. I don't have any banding material to test it with, but it looks like it could go to work as is. The mechanism has the precision of a revolver. I am willing to accept returns with no questions asked if this tool doesn't meet your expectations.

B2A0 Bander banding tool vintage strapping C1204C Acme?
This is a quality tool that is in excellent working condition. I don't have the banding material to test it. But the gears click through with precision and little wear is evident. It is stamped with OIL and the serial number 13863 on one side, and has C1204C stamped into the cast iron on the other side. The remains of a sticker on the side has B2 visible, as well as an M I think could have been from an ACME label. From other pictures I suspect it may be an Acme tool, but there is no stamping stating this on the tool. It appears to be old and quality built. I came across it with another tool stamped B2A0, and they have identical construction and design, but I don't know anything about it's history. I would be happy to accept a return if it does not meet your expectations.
