Vintage / Antique Saxmayer Bundle Tyer Newspaper Tying Machine Hand Crank
For sale is a vintage/ antique Saxmayer Bundle/ Newspaper Tying Machine. Seems to work fine but I am not exactly sure what it is supposed to do. The crank moves smoothly and the arm moves down into and through where the bobbin like mechanism is. Not sure how it supposed to tie/cut the string. If any one know how the string is supposed to be run through the bobbin let me know and I will test it out. Looks like there is some string stuck/left in the mechanism. Saxmayer tying machine with factory stand Antique but still usable
This is an antique that was still being used in our mail room until recently. It takes some tweaking to get it to tie right but if your looking at this machine you probably know that. Once set up. It works great. This machine is heavy as the top is enameled steel and the body cast metal. Also the cart is steel. Thus it will be expensive to ship. I put down $90.00 for UPS but if you have a less expensive way or pick up I will credit that back. Please ask any questions before bidding.
