Used- Antique vintage strapping tensioner banding. Not sure of the brand. The best I can tell it looks like an old Acme. Though it's not marked. This unit is in good shape. Still works. Gerr UP FOR AUCTION Is A Vintage Acme Gerrard England Strapping Banding Machine C-04283-Fl I Combine Shipping Up for auction is a Vintage Acme Gerrard Strapping/ Banding Machine model C-04283-Fl that is made in England. I am not 100% sure if this is for metal bands or for nylon type straps. It seems to function as it should. When you push the red handle forward all the way the geared arm can be slid all the way back and then if you move the red arm forward and back it moves the geared arm forward with a nice clicking noise coming from the 2 ratchet parts. The strapping machine shows some signs of wear and use as can be seen in the pictures. The handle has 2 spot welds that look old but i am not sure if it was original or an old repair. It seems to fu with some aging to the body of the machine. Measurements Fully retracted the tool measures ... more11” The measurement is for the main body and does not include the length of the handles that hang over. Its just from the front of the forward gripping jaw to the back of the geared arm. Handle with red ball measures aprox 9” long from end of ball to pivot bolt. Vintage ACME STEEL CO. Strapping Banding Machine Model N Handle Knob Part
This is a vintage yellow Acme Steel handle knob off Model N banding strapping machine. The knob is stamped on the top and is in solid condition. There is very light surface wear but really nothing. The screw hole is 1/2" diameter and the knob 1 3/4" diameter ball. Still a very useful knob if u haave the tool! Happy to answer questions! Thaank u for looking!
