This is a combination GERRARD tensioner and crimper. Wheel type tensioner. Model: 2308. Size: 1/2" Handles strap 1/2" wide. I tryed it around a piece of plywood. Tightened it easy and to the point of indenting the wood. The grippers are sharp and in good condition. There is only one crimp on clip which I will ship with unit so you have an original. I tested the crimper with a Signode clip which I had to grind shorter to fit the holder slot. It takes stacks of clips which are automatically pushed on the band/strap for crimping. Does a double crimp. Not sure if it can be seen in picture. Here is some nice vintage Brainard Steel Strapping tools. Two of the pieces say brainard and the 3rd piece without the red handles I am unsure if it is part of these tools. I think it is part of these strapping Tools but I'm unsure. If you can tell me what the 3rd piece is and if it goes with these other two pieces that would be great.
