Hello. This listing is for a nice used HOBART 2612 Manual Deli Slicer. This slicer is fully functional. Has a very sharp blade and includes blade sharpener. Item ships with everything pictured(besides the pig in the background) This machine was cleaned by me prior to taking the pictures, but I recommend a thorough cleaning and sanitizing before use. The machine slices like a dream, but it is used and shows some signs of that use. Two of the legs are bent(not broken) but it still sits flat and does not wobble. The thickness adjustment dial is broken. Selling the Fleetwood 1900 deli slicer. The Big One" It's older model. Have rough cleaned it. You need to detail clean and sanitize and whatever TLC prior to using. I think it works fine enough to use. Though it's one of those items haven't used in a few years. That's why I'm selling as-is condition. The one thing that is obvious is electrical plug cord was damaged and replaced. It's not the worlds cleanest professional looking setup with wire nuts(see images) You may want to solder it together and have shrink wrap or similar. The little video shows you basic operation. Yet, there are limitations: 1) When you turn the unit"on. you have to probe the blade a little bid with a hand. It starts turning and cuts well afterwards. It could be a simple issue of adjusting the belt, but I simply did not want to bother with it since it worked good anyway. 2) The cover on the sharpening unit is gone. This is a cosmetic issue. Since it does not effect its functionality. For specifications(VOLTZ. HZ, PH and the rest) see one of the pictures above. After checking what others ask for the shipping. I'm going to put $60, but will charge actual shipping plus box\supplies. If it will cost me less than $60, I'll issue refund. Obviously, local pick up will work as well. Hobart 2612 12" Deli Food Meat/Cheese Manual Slicer - 1/2 HP - NY/NJ Area
This is a Hobart 2612 Heavy Duty 12" Deli Slicer. These are commonly used in delis and food establishments for on-the-spot slicing of meats. Cheeses and other foods. Unit is in good condition with typical wear and tear from a used unit. I replaced both knife-shaft bearings and cleaned the indexer. Everything is operating smoothly and I will also include Hobart-grade lubricant so you can keep the carriage and meat grip moving freely. The unit has the transport carriage with the meat grip assembly attached. Kinfe blade appears to be sharp. It cut through some veggies with no issues. Might have small dings on it, but nothing major and it spins round. Unit does not have a sharpener(but one can be added to it) Machine runs off of standard 120vac electricity. Plug it in and turn on.
