This item is a used Berkel Model 827 Deli Slicer with a 12" Blade– Gravity Feed. This is a Heavy Commercial Grade Slicer made in Italy and weighs 60 pounds. This is in good used and working condition with wear and scratches from use. This works very well and I was able to slice meat right down to wafer thin. The blade could probably use a professional sharpening as I don’t know when it was done last. But I did use the self-sharpener and it is slicing nicely. I has a new start/ stop switch and 2 new stones on the built in sharpener. Berkel still makes this model which sells for around $1300 new. Yet, there are limitations: 1) When you turn the unit"on. you have to probe the blade a little bid with a hand. It starts turning and cuts well afterwards. It could be a simple issue of adjusting the belt, but I simply did not want to bother with it since it worked good anyway. 2) The cover on the sharpening unit is gone. This is a cosmetic issue. Since it does not effect its functionality. For specifications(VOLTZ. HZ, PH and the rest) see one of the pictures above. After checking what others ask for the shipping. I'm going to put $60, but will charge actual shipping plus box\supplies. If it will cost me less than $60, I'll issue refund. Obviously, local pick up will work as well.
