Hello. This listing is for a nice used HOBART 2612 Manual Deli Slicer. This slicer is fully functional. Has a very sharp blade and includes blade sharpener. Item ships with everything pictured(besides the pig in the background) This machine was cleaned by me prior to taking the pictures, but I recommend a thorough cleaning and sanitizing before use. The machine slices like a dream, but it is used and shows some signs of that use. Two of the legs are bent(not broken) but it still sits flat and does not wobble. The thickness adjustment dial is broken. It adjust perfectly, but the part that shows thickness is detached(pic 9) The meat grabber is worn and has some surface cracks in it(pic 10) PLEASE READ* I try my best to describe everything as completely as possible. Hobart 2612 12" Deli Food Meat/Cheese Manual Slicer - 1/2 HP - NY/NJ Area
This is a Hobart 2612 Heavy Duty 12" Deli Slicer. These are commonly used in delis and food establishments for on-the-spot slicing of meats. Cheeses and other foods. Unit is in good condition with typical wear and tear from a used unit. I replaced both knife-shaft bearings and cleaned the indexer. Everything is operating smoothly and I will also include Hobart-grade lubricant so you can keep the carriage and meat grip moving freely. The unit has the transport carriage with the meat grip assembly attached. Kinfe blade appears to be sharp. It cut through some veggies with no issues. Might have small dings on it, but nothing major and it spins round. Unit does not have a sharpener(but one can be added to it) Machine runs off of standard 120vac electricity. Plug it in and turn on. Before using, I highly recommend a good cleaning and dissinfecting(for ... moreobvious reasons) This is a solid machine that will last ages like all other Hobart equipment.
