I am able to turn the blade by hand, so I'm ... morenot sure if the problem is with the motor or maybe the gears. It has cosmetic marks, grime, oxidation, etc. from age and previous use. One screw and knob part has been replaced with a contemporary nut and bolt. The slicer comes with what looks like either the original or a replacement(see picture) Also, the blade guard has a repair on it as shown. The slicer is being sold as-is, for parts or repair. Please see the pictures for more details. My research indicates the dataplate for this slicer was originally where the power switch is. This slicer has had its switch replaced some time ago. And the dataplate is now lost. I looked around online and I think it's a model 150, but I'm not sure about that. It may have had a higher number, up to Model 285. But the examples I saw online that are Model 150 all look very much like this slicer, more than the other models I found. Again, I'm not totally sure. I found sources for parts online. And you'll spend a lot to get most of them, so this slicer is a goldmine of value if you're trying to restore or repair one and need various parts. Again.
