One screw and knob part has been replaced with a contemporary nut and bolt. The slicer comes with what looks like either the original or a replacement(see picture) Also, the blade guard has a repair on it as shown. The slicer is being sold as-is, for parts or repair. Please see the pictures for more details. My research indicates the dataplate for this slicer was originally where the power switch is. This slicer has had its switch replaced some time ago. And the dataplate is now lost. I looked around online and I think it's a model 150, but I'm not sure about that. It may have had a higher number, up to Model 285. But the examples I saw online that are Model 150 all look very much like this slicer, more than the other models I found. Again, I'm not totally sure. I found sources for parts online. This item is the tray and support Arm and product pusher. In very good condition the tray is clean and solid. one small knob is missing(see Pictures) but it works well without it. UNIVEX part. it has carriage arm and pusher with all it's spikes. the missing Knob is for sale on UNIVEX website. It has the stainless steal weighted handle, a added bonus. this was in a lot of kitchen equipment I bought from Army Surplus. This is not a new, $1600 unit. I've been using it for about two years and just bought a new one. Mostly I've been slicing dry cured ... moremeats: coppa, salami, etc. It worked fine for me. Yet, there are limitations: 1) When you turn the unit"on. you have to probe the blade a little bid with a hand. It starts turning and cuts well afterwards. It could be a simple issue of adjusting the belt, but I simply did not want to bother with it since it worked good anyway. 2) The cover on the sharpening unit is gone. This is a cosmetic issue. Since it does not effect its functionality. For specifications(VOLTZ. HZ, PH and the rest) see one of the pictures above. After checking what others ask for the shipping. I'm going to put $60, but will charge actual shipping plus box\supplies. If it will cost me less than $60, I'll issue refund. Obviously, local pick up will work as well. For the same reason, I'll not ship outside of the lower 48. It is sold"as is" and with no return: simply because I do not want to mess with it and putting it again on E-Bay. My 100% feedback should speak for my integrity. Once more. This is not the unit you can display in your window, but fully functioning and has plenty of life in it.
