My husband who is the slicer in our family believes it is better than what you'd find now in most delis and restaurants. We found it stored in a church basement in Akron. OH, in the early 1990s. It was given to us to clear it out. We cleaned it up and used it there as well as in South Carolina since that time. We are planning another move where there is no space for it. Over the years, we've enjoyed smoking pork roasts and then slicing them thinly. It has been stored under cover in our laundry room and was last used in March. Used. But great working condition, slicer is sharp and runs smooth, automatic movement works great. Ask questions before you bid. Local pick up only in Apple Valley, Ca 92308. This is a great deal, globe slicers are better than Hobart. This is sold as is. We will run to make sure it is not DOA but there is no warranty or guarantee. There are 2 issues, the sharpening stones are cracked and need to be replaced(they are less than $20) And the knob that takes off the knife cover is broken(less than $30) to replace, but still can be removed with plyers.

As shown a used Globe model 715 commercial slicer in good working condition. The weight is 145 pounds and approximate size is 24" x 24" x 24" The blade is 11" diameter so I'm not really sure if this would be considered a 10" or 12" The original cord was replaced some time ago and there is a small crack near the sharpener cover hinge point(see photos) which does not affect the operation at all. Hi there I have an amazing commercial meat slicer that is in amazing condition! It's really only been used three times and has a blade that could cut through metal! The sharping stones are still on and brand new! The only issue is the bottom plastic broke on one of the side corners from putting on bottom shelf and we lost one foot but they are 12 on eBay. Neither affect it in any way. The rest is shinny and ready! It really needs to be put in a deli because it needs to be showed off! Haha anyways any questions feel free to ask.
