Realistic 14-778 SCR-8 A great sounding unit. I think collectors overlooked this one. Has music search. Aux in ext speaker out. Clean speaker area that works great with 8 D batteries( not included) cassette works but door wont close completely. Am/Fm radio workd but does not have antenna. Loudness, stereo wide changes sound as it should. Stereo audio level meters work as they should. Crack at top left of unit(see photos) Nicks and scratches but still a good looking and sounding unit. Reliance Thyristor/SCR 8466-91V
This thyristor is used but is in nice overall condition. This was tested by connecting it to a circuit made by our tech involving a DC power supply and a motor. Then a small power supply for the gate circuit. The motor without a load on it would run as long as the gate was energized. As soon as the gate power was turned off the motor would turn off. When the shaft of the motor was given some resistance(so it would draw more current) then the gate was energized, we were able to de-energize the gate and the motor would stay running as long as the motor was still drawing more current. As soon as the shaft of the motor was set free there was no extra resistance on it, the circuit would be interrupted and the motor stopped spinning. I will include the small plastic bag with scre ws.
