And now, without further ado. You are looking at a lot of 2 television or radio selenium rectifiers from the 1950's or perhaps 1960's. I got them in a lot of vintage television parts that I recently acquired. One of them. The smaller gray one, says GE, and the numbers IBM237307 and 5M. The blue one has a honeycomb like core, and has the numbers 83-1146, and the number 10, as well as a plus sign. I don't know the manufacturer of that one, but there is a logo you ... moremay recognize. I know nothing about selenium rectifiers(other than the limited research I did to find out what these were) or what these numbers mean. Perhaps you do and could use these? Please ask questions about these as I have no idea how to determine if they are in good working order or not. In my limited research on selenium rectifiers, it seems that the plates should not turn freely, and these do not turn, so I assume they are in good working condition, but again, I have no idea and as such, they are sold with no guarantees. If you know of an easy way to test them, please let me know. The big one measures 1" by 1" and is about 1 1/8" from fron to back. The smaller one measures 1" by 1" and is about 7/16" from front to back. Y ou should be sure these are the parts you want if you are bidding. If you are not sure. These high voltage rectifier packs were removed from a Phillips x-ray machine high voltage transformer. It had an output of 150 KVP at 1000ma. I will not speculate on the output of the individual 28 sticks. The transformer was about 15 years old at time of their removal and was fully functioning. They were immersed in transformer oil. This is what I believe to be a 3 phase General Electric rectifier stack. It has a total of six pucks on it. 3 with the markings"PSI F 400 6 MEDC" in red, and three with the markings PSI FD 900 6 MEDC" in black. On the bottom of the stack, there are the markings 70-707-5261. I am unable to test this stack but it appears to be in pretty good condition. There were still small packing wafers in the fins of this, so it may be unused surplus. This massive stack weighs 26.4 lbs and is very stout, measuring 16.5" x 14" x 6.5" If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have a total of three of these units. This is being sold as used. So it shows the junction capacitance as the loop on the right. I guessing it is about 1000 pf. Vertical scale is current. 500 uA/div. Horiz o ntal scale is 2 V/div. This curve is Vertical 100 uA/div.
