Yes. The infamous SCR-8. It was radio shack's best boombox and most powerful. They sound great too. I'm sure most of you that know the radio shack boomboxes, already know this! Especially that this particular model was famous for cassette problems. I have 3 of these up for auction. THIS IS#1. It is in great shape. The radio plays well and sounds great! Antenna is good! The cassette recorder however does not. It has a mechanical issue, it will rewind or fast forward, if you press play, it jams up. After taking it apart and getting the flywheel to turn and freeing it up, it goes into the play mode, but is stuck in pause, so it is not a belt issue, but something else. Fix it or use it for parts. Again, I have 3 of these and neither of them have a good cassette player/recorder. Oh. Is this cool. Realistic white little boombox. Everything is working, tested and fully functional. Antennae is tight and strong, cassette player is working, rewind, forward, play. Cool handle on the end and you can add a strap if you want. Sounds great. Incudes original owners manual! very rare, and safety pamphlet. Cord comes out for battery operation. Battery compartment is excellent. Look at the cool headphone holder, awesome. Headphones work and silence the speaker when plugged in. Weighs 3 pounds 6 ounces and measures 14" X 5" X 3" Has headphones out, DC 9V in, and AM BEAT CUT switch on back. Will combine shipping.

A small boombox from 1980s by RANDIX SCR710 This is a Dual band AM FM radio cassette Receiver in overall its in a very nice shape Cream color casing with tint of light gray(may be due to aging) both AM/FM bands and Cassette still functions RW slightly slow but works. Large rectangular cassette window notable w overall geometric overall looking design with chrome accents which makes this unit stand out. Front plate appears to be made of Aluminum metal covering which is nicer then usual plastic casings we find on ebay. Unit has tiny metal cover cut(1/16th inch) at metal cover right over the top area. Which isn't really notable unless carefully look, some min paint peels at corners from use. But overall its fully intact unit. casing seats tight.can done further touch up)and all parts present. This is compact two speaker unit it has band ... moreselector on the side of the unit appear to been done touch up w matching paint. It has separate L and Right volume control both work as it should. tone control as well. This unit has a signal strength meter( for radio tuning and this is not a live VU meter) a FM stereo indicator and power LED which all works. pull out directional Antenna is nice condition shinny and appear to be original. This does not have a LINE-IN. antenna by the way folds and hides completely into body of the unit. This is very nice unit small but good amount of detail on overall design. It will be nice part of mini boombox collection. It uses 4x D size(yes D size) batteries. but also has a built in Transformer.117V) so it works in US from 110-125.no AC cord) Medium to bit heavy for its size. about 15 x 5 x 3 in dimensions. weigh about 5.5 lb with batteries in it. compartment is clean also with no damages I can see.
