Short Wavelength Pin Photodiode Detector Sensor High Gain CT Scanner Part Lot 2x
This is a pair of extremely high gain(PIN or Avalanche? photodiode detectors designed for use in a CT scanner. Most likely combined with a CaF2 or CsI scintillator crystal sheet. This photodiode is optimized for blue light. It can be used with a high gain amplifier to make a very sensitive radiation sensor if desired. The die configuration is closer to an APD than a PIN photodiode. But the electrical response seems closer to a PIN photodiode. This is a very nice optical part. It is pretty hard to find. I have lots of lasers and other unique stuff for sale this week. Just a heads up, several people notified me of trouble bidding near the end of listings, to avoid this disappointment, if you actually NEED this item either bid what you think it's worth early, or Buy it now outright.
