Lot 3 multimeters 2x RCA analog VOM FET and 1 radio shack pc interface digital
I have a lot of 3 different multimeters I was going to restore but never got around to. The largest is a full size analog RCA WV-38a. It has a problem with the battery clips/ holders and would need them replaced with some battery holders. If I recall it used 4 AA batteries and a D cell. The next is a smaller RCA FET VOM model WV-530A. It looks pretty good and comes with a case(needs work) and test leads. It's problem is that the ball that makes the switch click into each position is gone. So it rotates and you have to make sure the knob pots to what you want to select. Not tested any further. The third is a radio shack/ micronta digital multimeter with serial interface for PC. This is much newer and does functions like frequency logic and transistor. I tried it on AC volts and it read the right number but instead of volts it said mv. ... moreIt seems to work on Hz correctly, not fully tested and needs work. All are sold as-is for repair or parts.

It out performs many mics over $1k. Beware the cheap tube mics that are littering the market these days, they color in a very un-transparent way. Stereo linkable or Dual mono FET compressor limiter, from the makers of the Compex and other esoteric gear. Works and sounds great. As you probably know. Great on drum overheads, room mics(ala zep levee breaks) plus electric guitar, snare. This unit also has the added benefits of having some professionally done mods for added flexibility and ease of use, performed by a tech w/ 25 years experience in vintage gear. Last one of these units sold for $600 as is without mods or recap. The mods and recap were $250, making this the best ADR Gemini/Easyrider out there. CONDITION: Excellent overall very clean condition front. Top, bottom+sides. The Action is a FET compressor reminiscent of the MC77. Designed to work in standard“500″ racks. The Action features a constant impedance 600 ohm input attenuator feeding the input transformer. Just like our MC77 units. This makes the input more resistant to overload by hot signals. After the input transformer, the signal is attenuated by the same gain reduction FET as in the MC77. The attenuated signal is buffered by our class A KDJ3 opamp, which feeds the output fader. Lastly, our class AB KDJ4 output opamp drives our custom hexafilar nickel and steel output transformer. Cosmetically the unit does have a few scratches and dents on the top case from other audio equipment being on top of it. Heathkit IT-3120 FET/Transistor Testers(2) Need TLC- HAM Here are two nice. Clean Heathkit model IT-3120 transistor testers/analyzers. The IT-3120, which is identical to the IT-121 except for color, is much more than a simple transistor tester. To quote from the manual: The Heathkit Model IT-3120 FET/Transistor Tester is a quality instrument for quick, accurate tests of conventional(bipolar) transistors, diodes, FETs, SCRs, triacs, and unijunction transistors. Gain(DC Beta) transconductance(Gm) and leakage values are read directly on the large easy-to-read meter.You can quickly and easily test devices either in-circuit or out-of-circuit. The Tester provides special circuitry to balance out in-circuit impedances. Five current ranges permit leakage measurements as low as 1 microampere and collector currents as high as 1 ampere. Pushbutton type ... morerange, mode, and function switches assure easy, consistent operation. A special battery testing circuit provides a meter indication of the condition for the self-contained power supply.S)eparate, brief operating instructions are printed on the rear panel. There are two sockets for bipolar transistors and FETs which are used for testing. Plus there are provisions for test leads for testing transistors in-circuit. These are very nice looking instruments. The meters are in working order and the panels are clean and shiny, as is the interior. These are truly laboratory grade instruments, and much better than the transistor testers sold by most major test equipment makers. That's the good part. Now for the bad: They don't work properly. When I pulled these from my closet. Both had tags attached stating that the switches needed cleaning. As the switches make up 90% of this instrument, it's a pretty good bet that they are the problem- but I can't guarantee it. Here is a vintage Marti Solid State compressor limiter. These were used in radio broadcast. And can be used in the studio as well; transformer in and out FET based unit. This unit works. Is in good shape, powers up and compresses the incoming audio. XLR pigtails included. Or you can switch to your own set of XLR pigtails. This unit has several features: Compress only. Limit, Compress, symmetrical or asymmetrical limiting. And a three position pad. The only slight problem with this unit is that the meter needle doesn't seem to go all the way to zero when it's set to read gain reduction. Probably a simple fix. Like any older piece of gear.
