This unit came from a church and had very light use while there. It has been tested and is in working order. I do not have any records of its maintenance but is in working condition now. Some of the wire connectors and wires have oxidation on them. The machine needs a good cleaning, it has some dust inside. Up for bid is a Thermo-fax copier. This is"The Secretary" model. I know many people use these machines for making tattoo stencils! When I turned this on everything was moving but only 1 light turned on. There is a thin bulb that isnt turning on. I think its a cheap bulb but i dont even know how to get it out exactly. Thermofax 3M 4500AGA Transparency Maker / Tattoo Machine
This unit can be used for screen printing or tattoo studio transfers. It was purchased a couple years ago for graphic arts work. But was not used. No parts are missing and appears to be original. I tested the machine by running a piece of paper through the unit. It functions appropriately. Machine turns on and off automatically. Like it should. The lamp illuminates, fan runs before, during and after the copy, paper feeds and runs through rollers smoothly. Belt shows use, but is snug to the rollers and shows no signs of damage. Switch in back prevents lamp from illuminating when the cover is opened. It is listed as-is. I haven't replaced anything or serviced anything. The manufacturer used high quality parts& materials and kept the design simple for many years of expected use. From our limited testing, it appears to be functioning ... moreas it should.

3M Standard 9750 Transparency Maker Thermofax TATTOOS STENCIL Machine This unit came from a local school that no longer needed a transparency maker. I don't have any transparency film to test it with. But I did power it on and the lamp turns on and I ran a normal sheet of paper through it. That is about all of the testing I am able to do of this machine. The paper feed is 9 inches. The clear belt seems to still work fine, but you can tell that it has been used. If you want a new belt they can be found online and even on eBay for pretty cheap. It is guaranteed to do as much as I have stated in my listing. But nothing past that, since I don't have any film to test it with.

Standard 3M 8700 Transparency Maker Thermofax "NEEDS REPAIR" "AS IS"
Standard Model 8700 Transparency maker in need of repair. When I plug the machine in the light comes on and the rollers move and the fans runs non stop but will shut off when the cover is raised. Open the lid and the machine stops so I am guessing that there is a problem with the on-off switch in the front of the machine that is activated when you insert the paper. The inside of the machine can use a good dusting and the clear roller may need replacing. I am describing the machine as accurately and as honestly as I can because I will not accept a return on this item. You are purchasing the actual machine in the photo's.
