Hix electric textile dryer. Overall 27 feet long. 13 foot heat chamber, 11 foot in feed, 3 foot out feed. Dryer is being replaced with a new dryer. We use this dryer everyday currently. There are a total of 5 heat panels in the heat chamber, two of the heat panels are starting to fail and will need to be replaced. The belt is 48 inches wide. We bought the Vastex D-100 a few months ago and it has been a fantastic dryer. Especially for a small shop that is putting out 100-125 shirts/hr. We have used it for 10 jobs and put between 500-700 shirts thru it TOTAL. Seriously light use. Our shop has used this for plastisol and Union plasticharge with perfect results every time. We will be moving to an automatic print machine in the next 6months-1year and need to buy a large dryer to get ready for the jump. Only reason we are selling this dryer. Vastex Econored Conveyor Dryer 220v Screen Printing Conveyor Dryer Oven
This is an older Vastex Econored Conveyor Dryer that I purchased in 2012 and had converted to a digital temperature controller and solid-state relays(instead of the mercury relay it came with) I have installed a high volume low noise blower as an upgrade to the factory fan that sounded like a power drill. There are 2 blowers installed in the photos but it only has one now. Which is plenty. The machine is hardwired to a 220V/ 50A circuit. There are three heat units in the hood, but I have only 2 connected. The third could be connected easily if you wanted, but I've found that 2 are plenty and only running 2 helps conserve power. In fact, the machine is set up so that you can select either or both of the heater units, and I have run a single heat unit before with great success by slowing the belt down. The belt will need to be replaced ... morewithin the next few years, at a cost of $2-300. It hasn't deteriorated much in the 2 years I've been using it, so I believe it will last you quite a while longer, but see the pic for belt condition so you're not disappointed. Chaparral Conveyor Dryer 36/12
The Chapparrel Conveyor Dryer powers up and makes heat. However is missing a 36 x 12 heating element available from Workhorse or Hix. I have replaced 2 of them already. It also needs a new speed control board which run about $100. The belt is in pretty good shape and has a lot of life in it. The dryer came from a lot of stuff I bought from a company buyout and used it for several years and updated to a 60" when I bought it it was wired for 220 single phase and I had it rerun for 220 3 phase. This is a used Javelin Automatic Screen Printing Press in good working condition. It has 6 Print Heads plus two blank stations that flash backs can be used on and it has 10 print stations. It includes two flash backs that have new infra red elements. 10 Adult Platens, 10 youth platens and 9 sleeve platens. There are also various width squeegies. Hopkins International RED AIR Conveyor dryer is also included in this auction. Also included are 36 each 21"x23" roller frames. Some have mesh and some need mesh. This unit requires an air compressor which is not included. I have a 5HP Campbell Hausfeld air compressor available to go with this unit. However it is not working and needs repair. You are welcome to take it. The oil leaked out and damaged the compressor pump. The motor still runs, but it needs a new pump. This would be a great ... moreaddition to any screen printing shop that is looking to expand. This is a very large and heavy piece of equipment. The purchaser is responsible for for moving this equipment from it's current location in Waller. Texas 77484. It will need to be taken apart to be moved.
