NuArc 6K Exposure Unit and Screen Vacuum Table w pump
For sale is a used NuArc 6K exposure unit and screen printing vacuum table with pump. All are in good working order; this unit was in use daily until we installed a direct-to-screen imaging system and this unit is no longer needed. The vacuum bag is relatively new. And the glass was replaced earlier this year(you should expect only a few scratches that did not cause us issues) Pump works good, as does the exposure unit. Exposure glass measures 56" x 76" The vacuum bag is also relatively new. Price includes wrapping and palletizing(this will need two pallets- one for the exposure unit. I hung this directly above my emulsion screens once I got ready to expose an image& then I would set a timer beginning at 5 minutes and add 5 minutes until the image was fully exposed. The cure/dry time went from overnight to just a few brief seconds, rather then wait over night. I'm selling my home made screen printing exposure unit. I have a background in construction and electrical. So this thing is built solid! The bulb and ballast is a 400w metal halide. Upon research when I built this. Metal halide is one of the best sources for emulsion exposure. The bulb has maybe 5 hours on it. Takes about a minute to warm up to full light, and about 5 minutes for cool down when you turn it off. I built this for t-shirts and posters. The exposure surface is 18"x 24" There is a sliding section that comes off for easy maintenance. As shown. Reflective tin makes for a quick and even exposure coverage. I have been compressing the screen with a foam pad and locking lid. Glass is tempered 1/4. Sturdy stuff! Plug it in and flip the switch and you're ready to go. Local pickup in Lititz. This Ryonet Exposure Unit is in perfect condition as I have only used it 3 times. I am selling because I am giving up the small screen printing business I had started and moving towards more embroidery and heat pressing. I used some thick screen tape near the corners on the bottom of this unit because Ryonet does not inform you that the bottom comes off very easily when you are carrying it or moving it. The timer works great. All the bulbs work. I will include the 20x24 inch foam pad that came with the unit as well which fits perfectly inside a 20x24 inch screen/frame.
