This is a rare. Vintage 1950's 3M Model 17 Thermo-Fax Secretary Duplicating Machine Serial#44839. These machines were among the first to make'dry' copies, which do not require any chemicals other than those in the paper itself. Today, these machines are used the make transparencies, in screen printing, and to make stencils used by tattoo artists. I have not tested this unit, however it does not appear to be damaged or broken, apart from some wear on the power cord. Because this item is fragile and very heavy, I'm only offering local pickup.
