Delta Shaper Model 1180 with Cutters/blades/bits
After a little investigating(by searching the patent# on top of the machine) I found the shaper is the Delta 1180 shaper made in 1936. It has a Furnas Electric Co. forward/reversible switch. 1 1/2 horse power motor and apparently is a popular item among vintage woodworking machine enthusiasts. I bought about 10 years ago and never used. It has a spindle where the blades are put. It has MANY SHARP blades(~20) with it and a rolling stand as pictured. It appears a craftsman made the cabinet. Up for sale two for the price of one Two Carbide Shaper Cutters 1 1/4" arbor. Two shaper cutters that were bolted together so I'm selling them together. The top one is 1 1/16" ht. and the bottom one is 1/2" ht. The carbide is in good shape with no nicks or chips and the carbide is sharp. I have a number of cutters up for sale at the same time and will be glad to combine purchases for cost savings in shipping. All cutters are wrapped in cloth and then bubble wrapped for maximum protection.

Rockwell Wood Shaper and Stand with 16 Cutters. ½” bore This vintage shaper is in good working order. It’s spent a lot more time idle than working. As you can see in the photos. There is light surface rust on the table and stand, but all components are strong and sturdy. Last tested on March 18, 2014. The table is 18” x 15 ½” The fence is 50” long. The shaper is powered by a single phase. 115 volt, ½ hp motor. All of the cutters are used but in good shape(see photos) Fifteen cutters are pictured and one is on the spindle.
