Selling my used CNC router/mill. This CNC machine was used for a few years on various small projects. I am selling this now because I rarely use it anymore. The machine works 100% and runs great. And ready to go. It comes with the control box + motors and Rotozip attachment. It has 3 Axis. X, Y, Z and all work great. You can see what kind of motors are installed via picture. The entire/actual cutting area is 12"x16" The machine will come as little as disassembled as possible. I will just remove the upper arm for shipping. The only thing to note on this machine is that the attachments of motors to control box are a bit flimsy and lose connection. So they would need to be soldered or crimped in. I will cut the hard wired connections so I can fold the CNC machine in half when shipping. Mach3 control software is needed and not included.

I have used this machine for many jobs the past year. And it is reliable as well as durable and ridgid enough for most hobby projects. The 4TPI leadscrews provide a good blend of speed and resolution. These Kollmorgen steppers are amazing and powerful. I run them at 48V but they are capable of up to 72V. I have used both Gecko G540 and Leadshine drives with this machine. There is no drive box included with this machine; only the parts listed above. The cables have been made to plug directly into a GeckoDrive G540 with no modification(though direction may have to be changed in software. The motors are wired bipolar parallel for better torque at higher speeds. I have run this machine reliably with 420ipm rapids using Leadshine DM542 drives and 48V PSU with USBCNC controller. I achieved over 300ipm rapids with the G540 drives. A USB controller will give you max performance and microstep ability. You will have to run 5V power supply to the SuperPID. Using a 1/4" mono plug. This is a Geometric Robotics"2 x 2 Rod" router mill. If you do a google search you'll find more specifics about the mill. It includes a Ugra CNC water cooled 2.2kw spindle with 3 collets(1/8" 1/4" 7/8mm) a 220 volt VFD with manual to run the spindle, and a small 12 volt DC water pump with dual radiators, silicon hoses, and a 110 volt to 12 volt DC power supply with cable. The VFD comes with a box I wired up that has a plug on one end and a switchbox to turn the power to the VFD on and off. There's also a KentCNC dust boot for the spindle that has a magnetic removable brush and takes a 4" hose. The mill includes three 1.8 degree Nema 23 stepper motors with 1/4" shafts. The mill has ball screws on all 3 axis and moves very smoothly. I am not including the controller.
