A very interesting rod. Bought new at an Orvis outlet store two years ago, I loved the rod but hated the grip and reel seat. So I had it re-handled by famous bamboo rod maker Marc Aroner, who turned the highly flamed English Sycamore spacer, as well as machining the screw lock parts and end cap and extension handle. The rod tube is a USA custom made Landmark Cordura tube with dividers. The rod is a powerful 7 weight, and handles shooting heads to 300 grains with no problem. It's a great rod, I'm just totally smitten with two hand rods these days.
