I am the second owner. The original owner purchased this printer 11/2007. I purchased it 11/2008. This printer is a workhorse. I hate to get rid of it. It was serviced by a Roland tech 2/2013. He thought it looked like new. He gave it a thorough cleaning and replaced the cap tops. The VP-300 is a 4 head printer. One head per color(CMYK) The SP-300 is a 2 head printer, 2 colors per head. Having 4 heads to print makes the VP-300 print faster than the SP-300. We have used it for wraps. Stickers& signs. It prints beautifully. Never a problem or complaint. It gets the normal weekly maintenance& upkeep. Very clean. Always covered when not in use(cover in photo is included) Never any major parts replaced. Very low hours. Greetings fellow ebayers. Up for auction here is one. Roland SP300 Printer/Cutter. It accepts 30" media for printing and cutting. I am the 2nd owner of this printer. I bought it the first of this year and replaced one printhead, the ink lines, all dampers and cap tops. As you can see from the nozzle test picture, the head I replaced(magenta and yellow) prints perfectly, the other one not so much. The cyan/black head looks bad, but it still prints OK when I set it on quality mode and slow the carriage down 2 clicks. I just printed the picture of the nurse. You can buy a new, solvent printhead here on ebay for about $700. I bought this printer because I could not get the printed I had before to print good skin tones. This one does a great job of printing skin tones. But, now I need a printer that is slightly larger. So, instead of buying ... morea new printhead for this printer, I want to put that cash into buying a slightly larger printer. A new Roland SP-300i will cost you about $14,000. For about one third of that you can be in business with this one. The software that came with this printer is ColoRip 2.1. It works perfectly. What you see on the screen is what comes out of the printer. But it is only a Rip& Print program. You need a design program to get your design ready to be ripped and printed. I will incluse working copies of Roland VersaWorks and FlexiSign Pro 8.1. In order to use VersaWorks with this printer you have to change it into a SP300V. I will supply the instructions for this change. All you have to do is change one number in the setup menu and flip one dipswitch on the main board. One great thing about this printer is that you can design and print directly from CorelDraw. No other software is needed. I tried it and it works perfectly. I think you can also design and print directly from Adobe Illustrator, too, but I have not tried that. By the way, the contour cutting feature of this printer works great. MUTOH OCE CS9065 SPITFIRE EXTREME 65" ECO SOLVENT PRINTER NEW PRINT HEADS ROLAND
This is a Mutoh manufactured machine. Xerox sells the identical Mutoh-manufactured printers as does Oce. The same printers are sold by Mutoh itself as the Mutoh Rockhopper 3 Extreme(with eco-solvent ink) and the Mutoh Spitfire Extreme(with mild-solvent ink) You can change the ink type yourself by looking at these instructions. We purchased the machine from auction in 2010 and never used it. When getting it shipped from California to Florida the shipping company removed the inks from the machine and the leftover ink in the lines dripped out from the bottom of the machine. I cleaned it up as much as possible. It does not affect the performance of the machine. I installed 4 new DX4 printheads. New dampers, new and new head caps. The machines firmware was put back to the Mutoh version firmware so you can use OEM Mutoh inks or 3rd party Mutoh ... moreinks. I installed the new print heads because I let it sit too long. The machine is ready to go just needs ripping software(mutoh) and inks. 2007 Roland Versacamm VP-300 printer and Ledco 30" laminator
I am selling a 2007 Roland Versacamm VP-300 printer and Ledco 30" laminator. I purchased both pieces of equipment brand new in 2007. Selling b/c I am getting out of the vinyl business. Printer is in great shape and is always plugged into a power source. The only thing I've noticed is when I do a test print that black bar is missing a few lines so that print head probably needs flushed or cleaned out. Other than that I have had no issues with either one of these machines and for this price this is a steal for someone looking to jump into the graphic business.
